    Patrick was standing next to Gwendolyn with a solemn expression.

    Upon watching him holding her hand, Gwendolyn tried to pull her hand back, but his grip was too tight.


    “Gwen, please consider me.”


    His gaze was full of sincerity but with a hint of sadness.


    Zayden had been waiting for her for the past few years. He thought they would eventually be a


    couple if he continued being by her side, but recently, he had been having second thoughts.


    Patrick''s appearance concerned him.
