The sun had set and they had finally arrived to their destination.


    Scratch looked up at the tower in awe, how long has it been since anyone had used it?


    Moss and vines covered the edge of the tower that seemed to be falling apart. Some parts of the walls looked chipped and he noticed that some of the wall''s pieces were on the ground at their feet. There was something haunting, yet beautiful about the structure.

    "Do you know how long it''s been abandoned?" Scratch asked Shadow.


    "More than a hundred years..." he replied.


    "What was it for?" Thunderbolt asked.


    "To watch over the kingdom for miles. This was used to guard the palace from distant predators." The pack stared at the long forgotten tower in silence.


    The eeriness that crept up to Scratch was insane; as was the feelings of an unknown grief.


    "Let''s go." Shadow ushered and the boys followed.


    The room inside was even more ruined than its outer shell. Grass and flowers covered the floor, and more vines crept up the walls. The stairs were so filled with moss that you had to be careful where you stepped.
