    Following her movements, Kane also nced back.,He then turned to look at her while still carrying a


    meaningful smile. “Am I really not allowed to see him?”


    “Well,it’s not impossible. But you brought too many people.Do you really want to meet my father or you


    have something up your sleeve?”ia crossed her arms as she remainedposed. Too calm that it

    Moran,do you still insist on seeing Dad?I want you to understand that Dad is really not feeling well and

    eyed her. “You’re keeping something, aren’t you? Tell me the truth. Your father is not really here,isn’t

    so caring about my dad,I will not stop you anymore. But,please,think it through.”


    After she spoke,she turned the handle and opened the door. Instead of going in,she made a gesture of


    invitation.


    Seeing her like this,Kane hesitated and remained standing at the door. This could be a trap.


    “Why don’t you go in now,Uncle? Isn’t this what you want?”ia continued gesturing her hand.


    There was a faint smile on her face,which made Kane feel more and more confused..

    smile, “Ray,I heard that you are sick,so I wanted to know how you are=”


    But before he could finish his sentence, ia had walked in and closed the door shut which made him


    jolt. What made him more surprised was the body on the bed, motionless and it didn’t look like it would


    move anytime soon.


    “R-Ray?”He took a step back.Ray was indeed inside the room,however, he didn’t seem to have gotten


    a sickness that could be washed away after a few days.


    “Ray?”He called again,but the person on the bed didn’t respond nor move an inch.


    With his mind full of questions, he turned to look at ia.”ia,your father…”


    “I already told you that he’s sick. Now that you have seen him,I didn’t lie to you,did I?”ia had calmed


    down. Now, she needed to think of a way on how she could drive him out of the room as soon as


    possible.


    But seeing it with his own eyes,Kane just felt troubled instead of feeling resolved.He couldn’t just leave


    easily.


    “What’s wrong with your father?”Kane suppressed the panic in his heart and asked. He walked toward


    Ray to have a clear look. He sighed in relief after making sure he was still breathing.


    However,Ray wasn’t waking up. Even though he was so close to him,Ray didn’t seem to notice his


    arrival.It looked like this wasn’t just a simple slumber.


    “Dad is actually poisoned, “ia said with her back against the door panel.”Do you understand my
