Sweet Revenge By Nuit Chapter 564
Chapter 564 To Forgive Is to Relieve
It was Saturday. Bridger got up early today. He put on his ironed suit andbed his hair smartly. He
checked his appearance several times in front of the mirror and even wore some Cologne. Today was
one of the most important days for him and would be a turning point in his life.
The elders would not arrive so early. His biggest concern was Miley. Although they had reached an
agreement, Bridger could rest assured before everything settled down.
Therefore, he went to the kitchen to bring breakfast to Miley. He came up to her door and knocked.
“Who is it?” Miley asked from inside. It sounded like she had woken up for a while.
“Mom, it’s me. I came to deliver breakfast to you,” Bridger bent down and said politely.
“Put it downstairs. I’ll eat thereter,” she replied.
“I don’t want to tire you. Besides, I have already taken it here. Please open the door.” He waited a
moment for her answer, but he didn’t get any. So, he added, “I want a talk with you.”
After a while, the door opened. Miley stood at the door and looked at him indifferently. “What do you
want to say?”
N?velDrama.Org owns this.
“Mom, won’t you let me in?” Bridger smiled and entered the room before she could answer. He ced
the breakfast on the table and looked around the room casually.
Miley’s bedroom was very big, but there were not many things in it, so it seemed a little empty. She
shook her head with a silent sigh, turned around, and walked in. She said, “What’s your ttery all
about?” She was applying her skincare products on her face while talking.
Bridgerughed awkwardly and said disapprovingly, “Mom, don’t take me wrong. I am not ttering. I
just want to be nice to my dear mother.”
Miley was amused by his words. She gave him a loving re and said, “When can you ever cease your
sweet words?” Seeing Miley smile like before, Bridger felt a little relieved and continued, “Not until
you’re tired of it. It is only me that can amuse you so much.”
Miley exhaled a long sigh. However, her smile gradually disappeared.
Bridger felt a little uneasy. Recently, he was a little unsure about Miley’s thoughts, but today, he must
not let anything go wrong. “Mom, you must help me today. After today, everything will get on the right
track. You can also continue to enjoy your life without worrying about me. Mom, everything can work
out smoothly as long as you help me.”
“Why are you so sure?” Sitting down slowly on the chair, Mileybed her hair casually.
“I’ve prepared everything needed! I have the DNA test result!” He nced at the document bag ced
on Miley’s table. In it was the test result he faked. “With this file and your confirmation, his words will no
longer matter. Besides, you are his grandmother and the most respected person in our family. Who
wouldn’t believe your words?”
And that was why Bridger urgently needed Miley to be on his side. If only the elders bought his words
and rejected Simon from the Palmer family when she insisted that the paper was authentic and that
Simon was not biologically
rted to them.
“You’re right, I am his grandmother…” Miley stoppedbing and pondered on these words. “His
grandmother is

“Mom, don’t overthink! I am your son and his uncle, but he never showed me any mercy!” Afraid that
Miley might change her mind, Bridger hurriedly said, “Mom, we are not forcing him to die. We just ask
him to hand over the charge of the Palmer family. Didn’t you always want me to take over the family
and thepany? We do nothing but
right the wrong.”
“Right the wrong,” Miley repeated his words firmly and nodded her head, “Okay, let’s right the wrong.”
Believing that she had made up her mind, Bridger was finally assured. He put the breakfast a little
closer to her and said, “Have breakfast first. It’s still early. You don’t have to rush.”
“Okay.” As Miley started eating, she saw him sitting beside her without any intention to leave. So she
asked, “Is there anything else?”
“Mom, have you told Litzy about this?”
Although Miley’s words would be convincing enough, it would be better it Litzy also sided with him.
“She doesn’t know about this,” Miley said calmly as she lowered her head and blew the cereal cool.
“Then I’ll go and call her. You’d better inform her of it in case anything should go wrong because she
doesn’t know the whole thing.” Bridger stood up and was about to find Litzy when he thought of
something and turned around. “By the way, has she read the former test result?”
Taking a sip of the cereal, Miley did not even look up when she said, “She is the one who took it back.
What do you think?”
“I…” He was stunned. He had forgotten about this. It Litzy said anything about the former DNA test
report, his n would be doomed to failure.
“I will tell her after breakfast, you don’t have to bother.” Miley put down the spoon and turned to look at
him. “There is still some time. I just hope that you can think about what you want the most. Are those
things a must for you? Remember what I told you, to forgive is to relieve.”
“Mom, why are you talking so strangely recently? Did Simon tell you anything?” Bridger asked
suspiciously.
Miley was weird recently. She kept talking about these things about forgiveness and relief. Bridger
didn’t understand what she wanted him to forgive or what she’d like him to relieve from. But he could
sense that she was hoping that he could show some mercy to Simon.
However, he was never a merciful person. He was clear that it must be cruel to vie for power. If
his brothers hadn’t died early, he would also apply these cruel tricks on his brothers. After all, he
believed that no one would show him mercy if he was failing.
Anyway, Bridgerforted Miley and said, “Alright, I got it. But Mom, don’t believe whatever Simon
says to you. You know how crafty he has been since he was a child. I don’t want you to be cheated by
him.”
Miley looked at him and nodded after a moment of silence, “Go ahead and do whatever you have to
do.”
After leaving her bedroom, Bridger thought about it and still felt disturbed. He felt an urgent need to see
Litzy. Now that Miley had been acting weirdly, he had to settle everything down by himself before he
could finally be assured.
