    nostrils. He missed the intimacy they shared before. He would never let her go again,


    “If your father and Lewis don’t approve of us being together.” Kevan’s husky voice echoed in Larissa’s


    ear as his hot breath warmed the delicate skin behind her neck.


    Larissa stiffened in an instant, her mind nk.


    After a long while, Larissa broke the silence by asking. “What did you just say?


    Her voice was as uptight as her rigid body.


    Kevan was well aware that she hadn’t heard what he said.


    “It’s nothing.” Now that the moment had passed, he didn’t have the courage to repeat the question.
