    Edmund seemed to be convinced by Larissa. His stunned expression turned dark pretty quickly. The

    Edmund snorted coldly. “You’d better hope so.”


    The man asked Edmund, “Mr. Rogers, should we free her hands too? Because what if people see and

    Edmund was silent for a bit then he said, “Go ahead. She can’t run anyway.”


    The men in ck suits had tied deadened knots when they’d tied Larissa up. So, only a knife could


    help cut Larissa free.


    Larissa nced at the pocket knife the man was using, and an idea struck her. She secretly gave the


    man a look, and the man understood what she wanted. After cutting Larissa free, he secretly slipped


    the pocket knife into Larissa’s down jacket pocket while Edmund was not


    looking.


    “Done.” the man in the ck suit reported emotionlessly to Edmund, who wrapped an arm around


    Larissa.


    Edmund pretended to be very affectionate with Larissa. “Do not scream or shout for help after going
