    Edmund carefully showed only hall his face. He kept locking behind Larissa. Once he was certain there


    was no one else, he unchained the door and opened the door fully.

    Edmund thought about it for a few seconds before he suddenly pulled away. “Fine, I let you see her.”


    He took out his phone and made a video cal. The call connected quickly and Edmund showed Larissa


    the phone screen so that she could clearly see. A Caldorian man appeared on the screen.


    “Mr. Rogers? Did you need something?” His fluent Cadorian further exposed and confirmed his


    nationality.


    Edmund ordered. “Show us. Wendy.”


    “Okay.” The screen changed to show an unconscious woman on a bed..


    Larissa’s heart squeezed with fear as she asked sharply, “What have you done to Wendy?”
