    Larissa had prepared a whole lot of words offort, but none of them were used. She was quiet for a


    while before asking Wendy, “Do you wanna go over to my ce and stay there for a while?”

    “Sure!” Wendy happily agreed and threw the fried chicken she was holding away. “I’ll go pack right


    now!”


    Because they did not live far apart, Wendy only brought a few things. “Tve never lived in a huge ce!”

    Lewis was still at Larissa’s ce. When he saw Larissa bringing Wendy back before Larissa’s

    just asked. “Did you have your dinner yet?”


    “She did.” Larissa pointed at Wendy. “I didn’t.”


    Wendy quickly said, “I can still eat!”


    There were many people in the house. Lewis ordered takeout, which was mostly things that Wendy


    wanted to eat.


    Wendy’s appetite had increased, probably because she was pregnant. Larissa stared at her with wide


    eyes and an open mouth. Belore Wendy could grab the third slice of pizza, Larissa stopped her. “If you


    eat anymore, your stomach will burst!”


    Wendy licked her fingers, still wanting more. But she still stopped when she saw her big stomach.


    After dinner, Wendyy on the couch, ordering Aster to serve her and give her anything she wanted,


    like water and snacks.


    Larissa and Lewis cleaned the dining table together. Lewis quietly asked Larissa, “Wendy broke up with


    her boyfriend?”


    His keenness surprised Larissa. But after a moment’s thought she figured it was not that hard to guess.


    After all Wendy made it so obvious.


    “Yeah” Larissa replied, “She’ll be staying here for a while to heal from the breakup.”


    Lewis turned to look sympathetically at Wendy, and then he asked Larissa again, “Should we change


    our location for tomorrow?”


    “No. We’ll be in the study. That’s not disturbing anyone.” This apartment was big enough, and there


    was a distance from the study and the living room. Moreover, the soundproofing was better than the old


    apartment, so they did not have to worry about Wendy disturbing them.


    “Fine then.” Lewis pointed at the study. “I’ll leave the documents in the study, and I won’t take them


    away. If you don’t have anything to do at night, you can still look through them.”


    “Okay.” Larissa agreed.


    Wendy had Aster forpany, so Larissa was not the least bit worried. She hid in the study with her


    phone and secretly video–called Kevan while pretending that she was “working overtime“.


    Kevan was waiting for her too. The moment the call connected, he answered quickly. “Did you lind


    Wendy?”


    “Yes, she was at home, and she was fine.” Larissa sat on her chair as sheined somewhat


    cutely at Kevan. “She could eat and sleep. Like, she was totally chill and finepared to me.”
