    An impatient frown appeared on Larissa’s face.


    “If you need to vent about his suffering all these years, I suggest you find someone else. If you

    Recovering, she turned to Larissa and said casually, “It was such a coincidence that we met. How


    about having a meal together?”

    Her first thought was that Sharon had invited her out of courtesy, so Larissa politely declined her


    offer. “It’s gettingte. We should have a meal next time. Aster needs to go to bed before 8 pm.”

    “Is this your child with Kevan?” she asked.

    you. How could he not be your child?”


    “That’s enough‘ Dn interrupted Sharon’s questioning and grabbed her hand. “We have to go


    home now!”


    He dragged Sharon away in a hurry, afraid she might say something she shouldn’t.


    He didn’t even have time to say goodbye to Larissa and Aster,


    Watching as they walked away together, Larissa couldn’t help but feel surreal.
