Larissa spent a long time coaxing Aster before he finally calmed down.

“Tomorrow.” Larissa had just sent an email to Winston Hotel’s senior management, informing them of a
meeting in the conference room at 9 am sharp.

personally. Taking a deep breath to calm herself down, Wendy continued, “So, are you doing okay?”
“What?” Larissa didn’t understand what she was referring to. “What do you mean?”
Wendy licked her lips and asked cautiously. “I mean, are you okay aftering back to Bartham?”
Larissa smiled faintly. “I’m fine.”
Wendy still couldn’t put her worries to rest. “Remember to tell me at once if anything bad were to
happen to you. If you find it too hard to continue in Bartham,e back immediately. Even with my
sry alone, I can support both you and Aster!”
Her grandiose promise made Larissa chuckle heartily, “Sure.”
They chatted for a while longer before Wendy noticed the time and urged Larissa, “It’s gettingte, go
to sleep now!”
After ending the video call, Larissa remained on the sofa. She opened her emails and finished her work
one after another. Unknowingly, the sky had already turned dark outside
Larissa took a shower, changed into casual clothes, and woke Aster up from his sleep. “Do you want to
go to the supermarket with me?”

residents from the nearby residential areas got off from work at this time, so the supermarket was quite
