    Larissa almost gave in when she heard Yvette speak of her illness with such gravity.

    “Knowing how serious your illness is, why wouldn’t you undergo chemotherapy?” Larissa pressed


    further, “Is your appearance that important to you? Important enough to lose your life in spite of your


    family’s worries and sadness?”


    Yvette hung her head guiltily.


    ‘I…” she stammered. “I thought that the rate of remission for undergoing chemotherapy was very low


    as well, Since I’m going to die anyway, I might as well leave this earth looking beautiful. However…”
