Chapter 856 Simon Has a Daughter
With a tilt of her head, Bailey looked toward Artemis, her eyes full of curiosity.
Artemis couldn''t help butugh. “I was with you for thest twenty-four hours. How would I know
something that you don''t?”
“True,” she said, turning her gaze back to her son. Her voice was cold and detached as she ordered,
“Don''t be vague. Exin it clearly.”
Leaning casually against his mother''s shoulder, Zayron said with a grin, “Well, to exin this, we have
to go back to eight years ago to the fateful night when Dad and he were drugged. Later on, he bought
you from Mr. Larson and dumped you with Dad...”
“Hold on.” Bailey gestured for him to stop. Squinting at him, she gritted her teeth and said, “Don''t beat
around the bush. Get to the point.”
“The crux of the matter is that Uncle Simon also had an encounter with a woman that night, and she
ended up pregnant as a result. Two months ago, that woman approached Uncle Simon, bringing along
a little girl. His other half couldn''t ept it and broke up with him. She then threw herself into the arms
of Prince Fabian of Friyx. I guess Uncle Simon still has lingering feelings for her. That''s why he
attended her wedding.”
As soon as those words were spoken, it shocked his mother to the core.
Bailey was indeed quite surprised. She stared nkly at Artemis, her lips trembling uncontrobly.
Artemis was also a little stunned. After a moment of silence, he sighed lightly. “On that fateful night
eight years ago, Simon did sleep with a woman. So much so that when I initially suspected Zayron to
be his son, he remained silent, causing me to almost mistakenly believe the child was his. Taking into
ount all the above, we can conclude that he had an encounter with a woman years ago, which
resulted in her bing pregnant. However, why is she seeking out Simon to acknowledge this
rtionship all of a sudden after not revealing herself for seven years?”
The corner of Bailey''s mouth widened into an annoying smirk.
The plot twists in this drama are so d*mn unexpected, they just keep leaving my head spinning.
“So, Simon doesn''t love the woman who bore him a daughter, but instead, he''s in love with his ex-
girlfriend who''s about to be a princess?”
Artemis held his forehead and said with a wry smile, “He doesn''t have a choice anymore, as she has
born him a daughter. Given that his so-called girlfriend is about to be a princess now, they are
clearly not destined to be together. The smart thing for him to do now is to bring that mother and
daughter back home.”
Bailey nodded in agreement, for she too believed that Simon should act in that manner.
“By the way, what does the woman who gave birth to Simon''s daughter look like? What''s her family
background? Why did she suddenly approach Simon?”
Zayron rolled his eyes, his face full of disbelief as he said, “Do you really think I know everything? I just
found out why Uncle Simon broke up with his girlfriend. As for the woman who gave birth to his
daughter, I''m not sure about her situation. Perhaps it would be better if you asked him directly.”
Bailey abruptly stood up from the couch and said to Artemis, “Let''s set off for Moranta right away. I''m
worried that Simon, heartbroken, might lose his sense of judgment and be an unpredictable factor
in the ongoing tussle between Sofie and Philip.”
Artemis stood up, ready to put her decision into action, when the ring of a phone echoed throughout the
room.
Seeing that someone was calling her, Bailey quickly reached out to grab her phone.
“It''s Raiden. I need to take the call.”
After she finished speaking, she strolled towards the balcony.
Artemis''s face suddenly turned grim.
First it was Edmund, then Raiden, followed by Cameron, and then Tucker. They keeping one after
another. Will there ever be an end to them? Out of all the women in the world, why do all of them have
eyes on my wife?
Seeing his father''s sour expression, Zayron couldn''t help butugh heartily. “Artemis, you need to stay
alert at all times. Otherwise, your wife might be whisked away by someone else.”
“Shut up.”
A momentter, Bailey finished her call and returned.
Her face looked somewhat cold, subtly radiating anger.
Artemis furrowed his brows and asked, “Did something happen to Raiden''s father?”
Bailey hummed before replying through her gritted teeth, “Josiah''s wife went to Dellmoor and
attempted to awaken Raiden''s father with drugs. Unfortunately, it resulted in aplication with the
dream-tailoring skill. Raiden said that his father''s health indicators were rapidly declining. Mr. Luther, I
have to make a trip to Dellmoor. After all, I''m the one who turned that old man into a vegetable. I must
save him. Why don''t you go to Moranta with Zayron first? Keep a close eye on Simon, and don''t let that
hot-blooded youth be manipted by others.”
“No way.”
“No.”
Both father and son spoke in unison.
It would be reckless of us to allow her to go to Dellmoor alone.
Artemis reached out to hold her waist. With a stern look flickering in his eyes, he let out a cold snort. “It
would be crazy for me to let you meet Raiden alone. This is not up for discussion. Wherever you go, I''ll
follow, especially when meeting figures like Raiden and Cameron. The more reason for me to stick to
you at all times.”
After he finished speaking, he looked up at his son and said bluntly, “As for you, go to Moranta and not
get in our way.”
Zayron was rendered speechless.

Bailey couldn''t help butugh, “That works too. Zayron, you should go to Moranta then. Remember,
keep a close eye on Uncle Simon. Make sure he doesn''t stir up any trouble.”
Zayron hummed twice in acknowledgment.
That''s my parents for you. When they''re in the mood, they''re even willing to get rid of their own son.
Meanwhile, in the infirmary of the Fletcher residence in Jadeborough,
Tamara stared at Lindsay across the room, her face clouded with anger. Through gritted teeth, she
said, “Mrs. Gibson, didn''t you say this solution had no risk? Why is my husband''s condition getting
worse after using your method? Do you realize what''s at stake here?”
Lindsay''s face also looked somewhat unpleasant.
She never imagined that Bailey''s dream-tailoring skill would be so incredibly masterful.
In the past, when her husband, Josiah, used the dream-tailoring skill on others, she was able to
awaken the patients from their strange state through aromatherapy.
Now, the dream-tailoring skill had been elevated in Bailey''s hands, leaving her helpless against it.
“Mrs. Fletcher, please don''t worry. Mr. Fletcher is not in any danger for the time being. I am certain I
can save him before he breathes hisst. Just give me a little more time.”
Tamara waspletely flustered and naturally unwilling to listen.
“I''m giving you five minutes. If you can''t figure out a way to save my husband, I''ll have you and your
daughter thrown in jail.”
Lindsay''s expression darkened.
After a moment of silence, she gritted her teeth and said, “The art of perfumery can indeed awaken
people from the dream-making technique. It''s just that my skills are not refined enough. Mrs. Fletcher,
the matriarch of the Rogers family, a top perfumery family, is like a sister to me. Her daughter,
Catherine, has reached the pinnacle of the art of perfumery. Give me two days, and I''ll Catherine girl
over. I''m sure she can concoct the right spices to negate this dream-tailoring skill.”
Tamara had initially wanted to reject the idea, but upon seeing her husband on the bed, barely clinging
to life, she finally relented.
“Alright, I''ll give you another chance. If you can''t save my husband, I''ll have you thrown in jail
immediately.”
Lindsay didn''t know how to respond.
Within a certain suburban mansion in Hallsbay, a young woman is collecting flower pollen in the
garden.
Her name was Catherine Rogers, the legitimate daughter of the Rogers family, renowned as the
foremost perfumers in the world.
