“Daddy, it was so scary just now! It’s a good thing you’re here! You can protect me!”When Skr saw
her tear-smeared face, his heart ached at her obvious distress. “That’s my good girl. Let’s choose a
puppy who’s as good as you and bring it home, shall we?” He stroked his daughter’s back lightly a few
