    Courtney tried to give her money and make her leave Zachary. Patricia didn''t take it, but she did as she


    was told. However, her refusal to take the check worried Courtney. She kept thinking Patricia would

    in a red dress smiling sweetly among the sea of roses. The girl was telling the servants how to flower

    The girl was holding a ck rose and brought it up to her nose to take a whiff. Her eyes narrowed, and


    she muttered to herself, "This is nice."


    Patricia gave her a nod when she went by the girl.


    Suddenly, the girl said, "MissAniston, a moment."


    Patricia stopped in her tracks. "What would you need, miss?"


    Rose wagged the rose she was holding. "I''m Rose Ortega, the third youngdy of this family."
