Chapter 1034
Tristan came out of the shower and found that his wife was already asleep. She was sleeping soundly,
in fact. He leaned down and kissed her lovingly on the forehead.
“Are you that tired? Have a good rest.”;
He slipped under the covers, then enveloped her in his embrace.
Sophie remained asleep. She let out a murmur before settlingfortably in his arms and drifting back
to a peaceful slumber.
The following day, Sophie made arrangements to visit Cecelia. Tristan decided to apany her to
Cecelia’s residence before parting ways with her.
“Shall I pick you up at noon?”
“It’s fine. I’ll see how Cecelia is doing first. I might have lunch with her.” I haven’t seen her in a while
now.
“Okay, then. I won’t disturb you two at noon.” Tristan understood that best friends often had things to
discuss, and he didn’t want to be a third wheel. “Call me if you need me.”

“Go inside now. I’ll leave once I see you’re inside.”

Sophie entered the house. Cecelia resided in a vi that her parents had bought for her, and she had
been, living there for a long time. The housekeepers recognized Sophie since she often came to
apany Cecelia, so they quickly opened the door for her.
