CHAPTER 36


    OCEAN''S POV:-


    I sensed someone around. That was when I looked up. It was alpha Zeus. He sat beside me and


    patted my head like a big brother.


    Alpha Zeus: What is wrong? First you ran away like you did not like Redford and now you are crying


    like a baby. I know something is wrong with you. Tell me what is it?


    He asked me in a worried tone. I could not stop myself anymore. I broke into sobs and started telling


    him everything. I told him that I was happy but everything changed as I had that nightmare. I told him


    everything I had seen in that nightmare. By the end of the whole story, my hups were nowhere to


    stop. My sobs became louder.


    Alpha Zeus: Your job is done here, Ocean. Leave the rest upon me. Go back inside and tell everyone


    that you had a horrible vision and because of that you ran out. Trust me, I will do everything to keep


    you and Moon safe. Will you trust me, little sister?


    He asked me and I nodded my head. I wiped my tears off of my face and forced a small smile on my


    face.


    Alpha Zeus: That''s the strong she-wolf I know. Now go back in and don''t tell anyone what you saw. Are


    we understood?


    He asked me again and I again nodded my head. I stood up and went back inside.


    Derek: Ah! There she is. She is back. Come here sweetie.


    Derek said in a loving tone. I smiled cheekily and stepped into the kitchen. But instead of going to


    Derek, I went towards Master Redford.


    Ocean: I apologise for my behavior earlier. I had a vision that made me behave rudely. Will you forgive


    me Master Redford?


    I asked him with a puppy face I always made whenever I would apologise to anyone. Heughed out


    loud seeing my puppy face then he stood up. He pulled me in a fatherly hug.


    Master Redford: who will not forgive such a cute little thing. Of course I will forgive you, but on one


    condition.


    He replied to me and I frowned. He broke the hug and I gave him a confused look.


    Ocean: What is the condition?


    I asked him in a low tone. He chuckled and patted my head.


    Master Redford: The condition is, you will never call me Master Redford again. From now on, like


    Moon, you will call me Gramps.


    He replied to me and I sighed in relief. I smiled cheekily then nodded my head. In all that, I actually


    forgot about my stomach that was still empty. My stomach growled loudly, reminding me of my hunger.


    Maria chuckled softly and came to me. She grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the dining hall.


    Everyone followed us behind. We all took our seats. Like always, Maria served me first. But of course, I


    was not ill-mannered. I waited for everyone. As Derek took his first bite, we all started digging in from


    our tes.


    A WEEK LATER:-


    I was walking back and forth into our bedroom. I was waiting for Moon who had note back home.


    Our lives had changed a lot after Moon''s grandfather had visited us. As Alpha Zeus was busy with his


    work of managing the whole territory, Moon decided to jump into the business so Derek would also get


    some rest. Moon said it was their time to enjoy their lives and be with each other. He was right. I did not


    step into his decision. I supported him and helped him with everything.


    But that day, I was more than scared. I did not know what to do. When I came to know which day it


    was, I panicked. Alpha Zeus was not around either, he went back. Derek and Maria were not home


    either. They were on vacations, more like a second honeymoon they did not get a chance to have. I


    and Moon were all alone in that mansion. I called Moon toe back home immediately.


    He tried to calm me down but I was all panicked. He sighed and said that he would be home in an hour.


    It had been almost an hour but he did note home. I was about to dial him again when I heard him


    honking the horn of his car. He parked the car in front of the door and stepped into the mansion. I ran to


    him and hugged him tightly. I started sobbing as he wrapped his arms around me.


    Moon: Ocean, babe, why are you crying? Tell me, what is it? Is everything okay?


    He asked me in a worried tone. We walked together towards the living room with our arms still wrapped


    around each other. He sat on one of the couches then he pulled me onto hisp. He wiped my tears


    with the pad of his thumb then he pecked my forehead lovingly. His warmth and his scent calmed my


    nerves a bit. But that panic was still buzzing like an rm inside my head


    Moon: Come on, tell me what is it? There must be something bothering you. Otherwise you would


    never call me like this. Tell me, so I can help you with your problem.


    He asked me in his honey sweet tone that he always used with me whenever I am crying. I sniffed then


    rested my head on his shoulder.


    Ocean: Do you know what day is today?


    I whispered softly and he looked at me. He frowned hearing my question. He kept quiet for a good


    minute then he shook his head.


    Moon: It''s Friday, why? What happened?


    He replied and I sniffed again. I buried my face in the crock of his neck.


    Ocean: And what was on Friday, Moon?


    I asked him and broke the hug. He looked into my eyes and tried to remember. Then it hit him. He


    remembered the reason behind my panic. His eyes widened as it hit him.


    Moon: Oh shit! I forgot and now we are doomed. It''s your first full moon.
