CHAPTER 20
A few days passed after that incident. Moon wasn''t eating much, just boiled vegetables or boiled meat.
Zeus hadn''t returned back since that day. Moon was getting angrier and aggressive day by day. Derek
requested Mr and Mrs Knight to allow Ocean to live with the Karts. Only Ocean was able to control him
and his anger. Derek was getting worried about his son. But he knew nothing about him.
Moon and Ocean woke up in the morning. They got ready and went downstairs. Ocean had her
breakfast and Moon only ate 2 apples. It was their exams. Final year and then they would graduate
soon. They both bid their goodbyes and stepped out of the mansion. Ocean walked towards Moon''s
car but Moon stopped in the middle way. He felt a sharp pain on his skin. Like it was burning. Moon
tried to brush it off but then, Ocean saw slitest smoke around his fingers. He quickly ran back into the
mansion, followed by Ocean. He was breathing heavily like he had been running for days without
stopping for a second.
Maria came rushing and found Moon in a miserable state. She went back into the kitchen and brought
a bottle of water for him. He downed it''s content in one go and asked for another. Ocean went to the
kitchen and brought two bottles with her. Moon drank it all but still he felt so much thirty. He asked for
another bottle of water. Maria went to the kitchen and called Derek. She informed him what was
happening with Moon. She took another bottle of water and went back to Moon. She gave him the
bottle and he again drank the whole bottle.
Ocean noticed Moon wasn''t just looking pale, his skin was white as snow and cold as snow. Moon was
worried about his final exams. He was the topper and he didn''t want to fail hisst year. Ocean was
worried about him as well, he wasn''t fine.
Moon looked at her and forced a small smile on his face when he saw her worried face. Derek came
and helped Moon to stand up and he helped Moon back to his room. Derek helped himy down on his
bed and Ocean sat beside him. Heid his head on herp.
Ocean: Does it hurt?
She asked in a worried tone. He smiled and closed his eyes.
Moon: A little.
He replied in a low gruffy voice.
Ocean: Where does it hurt?
He pointed his finger towards his head. His head felt like someone hitting his head with hundred
hammers. She started massaging his head. A smile made its way to his lips seeing her care. It wasn''t
long when his headache faded away and he fell asleep. Derek came into the room to check on Moon.
Seeing him sleeping peacefully, Derek sighed in relief.
Derek: I''ll talk to the principal Albert. You both will be able to attend your exams here, in our mansion.
Derek informed Ocean. She smiled and nodded her head. Derek came out of the room and went to the
kitchen where Maria was sobbing. He sat beside her and wrapped his arms around her.
Maria: I was telling you all something is wrong with him. None of you paid attention. Now look at him.
He is in pain.
She said between her sobs. He rubbed her back to calm her down.
Derek: I am going to the darker part of the forest. I know I will find answers. On my way I will request
principal Albert to allow them both to attend their exams from home.
Derek whispered.
Maria: Okay, that''s a good idea. Since Ocean is the only one who keeps him calm, I think it''s a great
idea.
Maria said and wiped her tears. Derek nodded his head and stood up. He kissed his wife and exited
the mansion.

Moon opened his eyes and looked at Ocean who was in her deep thoughts. She was ying with the
hem of his shirt. With an easy swing he flipped both of their bodies. Now he was on top of her. He
pinned her with the bed and held both of her hands above her head. He stared into her eyes. She
noticed his eyes weren''t just dark, they were pitch ck. She felt herself lost in his eyes. Like he was
casting a spell on her, to cage her. She shivered in fear seeing his pitch ck eyes. She sighed in relief
when she saw him smiling. He leaned in and captured her lips for a passionate kiss. She moaned softly
when he bit her lower lip.
He was drinking from her like he was thirsty for decades. She tried to get her hands free from his hold,
but he didn''t let her. He broke the kiss when she was out of breath. She gasped loudly and filled her
lungs with the oxygen as much as she could. She opened her eyes to look at him. His eyes were green
again. He smiled and pecked her forehead. Then he kissed both of her cheeks followed by her jawline.
He let go of her hands and grabbed her by her waist. She intertwined her fingers into his hair. He
reached to her neck. He trailed wet kisses all over her neck. He nibbled her neck and she gasped
loudly. He chuckled and kept doing his work.
Suddenly, he felt something strange inside him. Something he never had felt before. Something that
made his mouth full of water. He leaned in and started licking and nibbling her pulse that was bulging
due to the steamy moment they were having. He nibbled her neck a bit harder than usual. She moaned
loudly. Then she felt something as sharp as nails on her neck. She screamed out loud. Moon felt like
he had woken up from a dream. She covered her neck with her hand and he gave her a confused look.
Moon: What happened?
He asked and removed her hand from her neck to examine.
Ocean: I felt something sharp on my neck.
She replied breathlessly. He looked at her neck. She was right. He left hickies all over her neck. And
just about her pulse, he saw two dots. He examined it closely and found blood. His eyes widened in
horror. He quickly crawled off of his bed. He went to one of the corners of his bedroom and sat on the
ground. He held his head in his hands. Ocean also crawled out of the bed and went to him. She sat
beside him and stroked his head lovingly. He backed away from her. He didn''t even look at her
Ocean: What is it, Moon?
She whispered softly. She felt hurt seeing him like that.
Moon: Stay away from me. I don''t want to hurt you.
Moon replied. He had tears in his eyes.
Ocean: Why would you hurt me, Moon?
She asked and tried to get closer to him again but he backed away again. It was like he was running
away from her and that was very painful for her.
Moon: Because I am bing a monster.
