CHAPTER 18
Everything came back to normal, Moon was now more close to his family than before. He trusted
Ocean even more. It was their final year in high school. They both were excited. Ocean was happy to
have Moon around her all the time. But Maria was worried about Moon. She started noticing his
behavior was changing. He was angry all the time. So many times he even had shouted at Maria. She
even had told Derek about it but he brushed it off saying she is just more worried about her son. Once
Maria asked Ocean about Moon''s behavior with her. She just shrugged her shoulders and said he was
perfectly fine with her. It was strange, Moon was always normal around Ocean, but hyper if she wasn''t
around.
It was Moon''s 18th birthday. Everyone was very happy. Ocean''s birthday was two monthster but they
decided to celebrate their 18th birthday together. Everyone gathered at Kart''s mansion. Zeus brought
them special clothes. For Moon, he brought white tux with ck shirt and bowtie. And for Ocean, he
brought white knee length fluffy dress. It was evening when both Moon and Ocean made their ways to
Moon''s bedroom. Moonid on the bed and signalled Ocean to use the bathroom first. She stepped
into the bathroom and peeled off her clothes. She filled the tub with warm water and added her favorite
moonlight path fragrance in the water. She hopped into the water. As soon as the hot water touched
her body, she moaned softly. It soothed her tensed muscles and she rxed in the water for a few
minutes. Then she washed her hair and her body. She stepped out of the tub and wrapped a towel
around her body. She dried her hair and stepped out of the bathroom. As soon as she stepped out,
Moon inhaled the air deeply which was filled with Ocean''s scent. He smiled as her original scent hit his
nostrils. He tried to get closer to her but she pushed him away.
Ocean: If we gette, Zeus will eat you alive.
She reminded him and he ran into the bathroom. She giggled and wore her dress. She applied some
makeup on her face and wore her shoes. Moon stepped out of the bathroom and came into the closet
where Ocean was brushing her hair. She saw Moon walking towards her and held her hair up. She
pointed her finger at the zipper of her dress. He chuckled and went to her.
Moon: You look amazing, stunning, beautiful. I don''t have words to define.
He whispered in her ear while zipping her dress. She smiled and hid her face in her palms. He
removed her palms and found her cheeks pink along with the tip of her nose. He opened his arms for
her. She turned around and wrapped her arms around his waist. He also wrapped his arms around her
and she rested her head on his wet chest.

Moon: You are the best thing that ever happened to me. You are the Moon of my dark night.
He whispered and kissed the top of her head. After a few minutes, she broke the hug and pointed her
index finger towards the wall clock.
Ocean: We arete.
She said and Moon just smirked. In a few seconds she saw Moon got ready. Just in a minute he was
ready and offered her hand to her. She smiled and took it happily. They both stepped out of Moon''s
bedroom and went downstairs. As they stepped into the garden, everyone pped and sang happy
birthday song for both of them. They all had dinner together and opened gifts. Derek lit up the candles
on the cake and brought it to one of the tables. Moon and Ocean made their way to the table and Maria
handed them the knife. They both held it together.
Zeus: Come on. Make a wish.
They both closed their eyes for a few seconds, then opened them again and blew off the candles.
Moon''s vision got blurry and he felt his head heavy. They both cut the cake and Moon felt dizzy. The
whole world around him was spinning. Ocean cut a piece of cake and brought it close to Moon''s mouth.
Suddenly, darkness engulfed him and he closed his eyes. He copsed on the ground. Before he could
hit his head, Ocean grabbed his head and pulled it on herp. Derek and Zeus ran towards them. Zeus
sat on the ground and checked Moon. He sighed in relief when he felt his pulse normal.
Zeus: He is fine, just fainted.
He said to his parents and scooped Moon up in his arms and carried him to his room. Ocean followed
behind. Zeus kicked the door open and gentlyid Moon on his bed. Ocean sat beside Moon and
pulled his head on herp.
Zeus: I''ll call the doctor. You are staying here with him.
He told her and she nodded her head. Zeus left the room and Ocean leaned in to peck Moon''s lips.
The doctor came rushing. He stood outside of the room, waiting for anyone inviting him in. Ocean
called him and he came in. He checked Moon thoroughly. But he didn''t find anything. Everyone was
worried about Moon. Maria was crying and Derek had to take her out of the room.
Doctor: Pardon me Alpha Zeus but I can''t understand what is wrong with him. He is perfectly fine for
me but why has he fainted, I don''t know.
Zeus: Then why are you here if you can''t understand what''s wrong with my brother.
Zeus growled at the doctor and he backed away. Ocean quickly got up and went to Zeus. She grabbed
his hand to stop him from hurting the doctor.
Ocean: Maybe it''s something he can''t understand. Moon is strong, he will wake up.
Zeus looked at Ocean and took a few deep breaths to calm himself. After a minute he signalled the
doctor. The doctor bowed his head in respect and left. Zeus turned around and looked at Ocean.
Zeus: Do you want to go back home?
He asked Ocean and she shook her head.
Ocean: No, I''m staying here with him.
Zeus nodded his head and sat on the edge of the bed.
Zeus: Do you want to eat something?
He asked and she shook her head. She went to the bathroom to change her clothes and Zeus changed
Moon''s clothes. As he finished, he pulled theforter over Moon''s body and stepped out of the room.
Ocean came out of the bathroom in Moon''s t-shirt. She closed the door and crawled into the bed. She
laid down on the bed and pulled Moon''s head upon her chest. She wrapped her arms around him
protectively. She kissed his forehead and started massaging his head. She closed her eyes and in a
few minutes she drifted off.
