CHAPTER 11
Ocean got ready to meet Mr and Mrs Kart. She was nervous. She wore white knee length dress with
white heels. She didn''t tie her hair. She was looking gorgeous. She went downstairs, Jack was waiting
for her in the car. He drove her to Moon''s Vi. It was her first time to be at Moon''s ce. Jack stopped
the car and looked at his super nervous niece, he smiled, grabbed her hand and said.
Jack: Just be yourself Ocean and you''ll be fine.
Saying that he kissed her forehead. Ocean picked up the flowers and got out of the car. She took 3
deep breaths and rung the bell. Maria opened the door and invited her in. She handed Maria the
flowers she brought. Maria smiled and said.
Maria: Thank you youngdy,e on in.
Ocean followed her behind. Maria led her to the living room where Derek was reading a book.
Ocean: Good afternoon Mr Kart.
Derek looked at her and froze for a moment. He was looking at her like it''s a miracle standing in front of
him. Maria cleared her throat and Derek greeted her back.
Derek: Good afternoon, so you''re the very famous Ocean. You know Moon doesn''t stop talking about
you.
Ocean narrowed her eyes and murmured shyly.
Ocean: Oh thank you.
Ocean looked around for Moon who was nowhere to be found. Maria noticed it and told a maid to take
Ocean to Moon''s room. She entered his room and heard the shower running. He was still not ready.
She sat on his bed quietly. Suddenly, he started singing a song and Ocean giggled. She fished her
phone out of her purse and turned on the camera. Bathroom door was open and Moon didn''t know that
Ocean was in his room. She recorded everything quitely. When she felt he would catch her, she quickly
got out. She was surprised to see this childish Moon. Around her, he was always protective and
possessive Moon, even angry sometimes. She was watching the video and giggling, she didn''t notice
when he came out of the bathroom. He was only wearing a towel. He grabbed her hand and pulled her
to his hard chest. He took her phone and threw it on his bed. He looked straight in her eyes, she
narrowed her eyes and murmured shyly.
Ocean: I''m sorry.
Her cheeks were rosy red along with the tip of her nose. Moon chuckled and pecked her lips softly.
Moon let her go and asked her with a smirk.
Moon: So you just to filmed me naked, so you can watch it when I''m not around?
Ocean''s eyes widened in shock. She shook her head without looking at him and whispered softly.
Ocean: No, I was just….
She couldn''tplete her sentence because Moon kissed her. He couldn''t resist every time he sees
her blushing. He broke the kiss, held her hand and spoke with so much love.
Moon: Never apologize for anything you do. I love whatever you do.
He tried to hug her but she backed away. He looked at her in confusion, he felt hurt. Ocean covered
her eyes with her hand and said.
Ocean: Cover your body first. I ain''t came here to see you naked.
Moon shook his head and chuckled on her innocence. He pecked her forehead and went to his closet.
He came back after 10 minutes all dressed up and ready. He grabbed her wrists and spoke.
Moon: Now can I hug you?
She didn''t say anything. She smiled cheekily and wrapped her arms around him. He held her tightly to
his chest and inhaled her sweet scent deeply. He then pinched her chin and guided her gaze to him
and softly spoke.
Moon: You look beautiful.
She smiled and buried her face in his chest. He grabbed her hand and led her back to the living room.
Ocean was now a bitfortable. She sat on a sofa and Moon sat with his dad. Derek cleared his
throat and asked Ocean.
Derek: So you are a Knight?
Ocean smiled and replied.

Derek: Sam Knight''s daughter?

Derek didn''t ask her anything else. He was shocked for some reason. Moon noticed it but didn''t say
anything. He didn''t want to scare or worry Ocean, so he stayed quiet. Soon Maria came and called
everyone for the lunch. Moon sat beside Ocean, they all ate in peace. They didn''t talk much, just
enjoyed their food. Derek noticed Ocean didn''t eat much. He asked her in a worried tone.
Derek: What''s wrong? Don''t you like the food?
Ocean smiled and replied.
Ocean: No, the food is amazing. I just don''t eat too much.
Derek chuckled and continued eating. After lunch, Moon drove Ocean back to her Vi. He parked the
car outside the Vi and asked her curiously.
Moon: So what do you think, do you like them?
Ocean quickly nodded her head and spoke.
Ocean: They are lovely. It was fun.
Moon sighed in relief and smiled. He pecked her forehead. She got out of the car and walked into the
Vi. Moon then drove back to his Vi. Moon entered the Vi and he heard his parents talking to
each other. More like whisper talking. He stood there quitely to listen what they would say about his
Ocean.
Maria: I''m not sure if that''s really possible.
Derek: We both have just witnessed it Maria. It''s her.
Maria: But she was dead. She never survived.
Derek: We would have asked her father if he was alive.
Maria: What about his brother?
Derek: He knows nothing about it. Only her father knew. He took her away from New Orleans for a
reason. I knew he would never stay after he would know the condition. But no one can trick destiny.
Maria: Are you a hundred percent sure it''s her?
Derek: Not a hundred percent. But I can say those eyes looked really familiar to me. We have to ask
the Master. He''s the only one who knows.
Maria: If it''s her then we have to tell everything to Zeus.
Derek: We''ll see about that.
Moon was confused hearing their conversation. He didn''t understand whether they were talking about
Ocean or someone else. He went outside and stepped in again to show them that he just came back.
He didn''t ask them anything about her. He was more tangled in all the things he heard his parents
talking about. He felt bad for listening to their personal conversation, but he wasn''t expecting all that.
He went to his room,pleted his homework andid on his bed. Maria came into his room to call
him for dinner. He first refused but he didn''t want to give her any hints that he heard their conversation.
So he went downstairs to have dinner with his parents. He was extremely quite, Derek noticed it and
asked him in a worried tone.
Derek: What happened son? Did she not like us?
Moon: No, she loves you guys.
Derek: Then why are you so quiet?
Moon: Nothing, I''m just missing Zeus.
Maria: Aww. He will be here soon. I know you both didn''t get too much time together this time. He said
he''ll try to visit soon. You know your brother.
Moon: Yeah I know ma but can''t he just live with us. I miss him a lot sometimes.
Derek: When he''ll visit next time, ask him by yourself.
Moon: Yeah I will.
Moon said with a weak smile and focused on his dinner. Derek cleared his throat and spoke.
Derek: So you''re not going to ask what we think about her?
Moon''s face lightened up and he excitedly replied his father.
Moon: I know you both love her. I don''t have to ask.
Derek: Really, what makes you think that? Maybe we don''t like her.
Moon: Nah. You both love her. I know you both. If you wouldn''t have liked her, you would have ordered
me not to see her again.
He ended his sentence with a smirk. He knew his parents very well. Maria giggled and Derek mmed
his fork on the table annoyingly. He thought to have a little fun with his son, to tease him a little but
Moon already knew their reactions. He quickly finished his dinner, fist bumped his father, kissed his
mother''s cheek and went back to his room.
He sat on the edge of the bed and looked out from his window. He was in his deep thoughts. Suddenly
something moved. He dropped all the thoughts and focused on the figure he saw. He stood up and
looked out but nothing was there. He found it weird, because it was their personal property and no one
ever intruded. He didn''t do anything but decided to talk to his brother about it in the morning. Heid
back on his bed and thought about the only girl ever caught his eyes, his Ocean.
