CHAPTER 06


    Ocean woke up the next morning bright and early. She went to the bathroom, took a quick shower and


    changed in skinny blue jeans and pink floral top. She went downstairs and enjoyed her breakfast with


    Jack and Lora. After breakfast Jack and Lora left for shopping and ocean went to the garden. She was


    watering the nts when the triplets came from behind. They nicely asked ocean to join them for


    adventure. They told her that they wanted to take her to the forest. Ocean agreed excitedly, she loved


    that forest. She felt something was weird but she brushed it off and went with her cousins. While on


    their way to the forest, the triplets apologized for their behavior with Ocean in the past. She was happy


    that finally they realized and she forgave them. The triplets took her to theke. It took a bit of time for


    Ocean to recognize the ce but she remembered it. This was the sameke years ago where she


    saved a small fish. Theke was beautiful, just like she witnessed years ago. It was deep as well.


    Monica took Ocean close to theke and told her to look for all the beautiful fishes swimming in the


    lake. Ocean was admiring the view when suddenly, her feet tipped and she fell in theke. That''s what


    Ocean thought but in reality Monica pushed Ocean in theke. Laughing hysterically, Monica left with


    her sisters. She didn''t even look back at Ocean once. Ocean didn''t know how to swim, she tried her


    best to keep her head above the surface of the water but it was getting hard. She was sinking down.


    She gathered everything she had left, went above the surface and screamed for help as loud as she


    could. She closed her eyes and darkness enveloped her.


    Moon was up early as well, he didn''t eat anything but left to swim in theke. He was close when a


    familiar scent hit his nostrils. He inhaled deeply. He was enjoying the sweet smell of vani and roses


    when a scream made its way to Moon''s ears. It was a familiar voice. Moon quickly ran towards the


    lake. As he reached he saw Ocean sinking down into the water. He quickly ran and jumped in theke.


    He grabbed Ocean by her waist and pulled her out of the water. She was unconscious. Her pulses


    were weak and she was pale. Moon pumped her chest and kept praying to God. It took a minute or


    two, Ocean opened her eyes and with a loud gasp she threw up the water in her stomach along with


    the breakfast she had a few hours ago. She was coughing hard when she sat up. Moon was rubbing


    her back soothingly. She looked at him and suddenly she wrapped her arms around his neck. Moon


    froze for a few seconds then quickly he wrapped his arms around her waist and they both hugged each


    other tightly. Ocean felt her pulses went normal and she pulled away. Moon cupped her face and


    caressed her cheeks with his thumbs. Silently they both stared into each other''s eyes. Moon shed


    her a sexy smile and Ocean''s cheeks turned pink along with her nose. Moon found it adorable the way


    she blushed. Seeing her reaction Moonughed. She smiled at him but suddenly her smile fell and her


    eyes welled up. Moon got even more close to her and whispered softly.


    Moon: What is it? Tell me.


    Ocean: I hurt you yesterday, didn''t I?


    Moon: Hey….


    Moon kissed the top of her nose softly and then spoke.


    Moon: You can never hurt me, don''t you dare think like this.


    Ocean: I''m so sorry, I didn''t mean to hurt you I was….


    She couldn''tplete her sentence as Moon ced his index finger on her lips and spoke.


    Moon: If you tried to apologise to me ever again I will make sure to kiss you hard enough that you won''t


    be able to breath for a good minute.


    Ocean''s eyes widened as those words made its way to her ears. She wasn''t expecting that kind of


    answer. Her cheeks turned red. She was blushing hard, narrowed her eyes. Moon smiled and sat


    besides her.


    Moon: Hey, were you running away from me? Did I scare you?


    Ocean: You did! I was scared of you.


    Moon: And not still scared?


    Ocean: No.


    Moon: Why were you scared of me?


    Ocean: The way you talk to melody and shut her off, I got scared of that. It''s not easy to shut her up.


    Moon: Is that so?


    Ocean: Yes!


    She said with a smile that made her dimples get deeper than before and Moon controlled himself from


    kissing her. She has visible dimples and whenever she smiles the dimples get deeper on her cheeks.


    He tore his gaze away from her face, he didn''t want to scare her again. He wanted to be close to her.


    Moon: So why aren''t you still scared of me?


    Ocean: Because you just saved my life. I love thiske but I wish I could swim as well.


    She said, changing the subject.


    Moon: You don''t know how to swim?


    Ocean: No, we had a pool in our Vi back in New York City. But when I was born, my dad turned it into


    a kitchen garden. He never allowed me to get into the water.


    Moon: Why so?


    Ocean: I don''t know, I never even asked him. But I guess, he was just afraid that he''d lose me.


    Moon: He must have loved you so much.


    Ocean: Yeah, he did.


    Moon: I''m so sorry about your parents.


    Ocean: Thank you.


    Moon: So I was thinking, as you''re not scared of me anymore and you aren''t like your bratty cousins.


    Can we be friends?


    Ocean: Yeah, sure.


    Moon: I''m allowed to annoy you too?


    Ocean: Haha! Yes sure you can. I won''t mind at all.


    Moon: Okay then,e with me.


    Ocean: where to?


    Moon: You''re all socked, you''ll get sick. Come with me and I''ll get you some dry clothes.


    Ocean: I don''t know.


    Moon: Are you worried that I might lose my control and try to seduce you.


    Ocean: Shut up.


    Moon: You look cuter while angry. Anyways, I''m not gonna try anything. I''m just trying to help my new


    friend and I don''t want her to fall sick. If you''re notfortable with that, I can bring you some clothes


    here. I ain''t live too far, it''ll take 2 minutes only.


    Ocean: Okay, I can work with that.


    Moon: Okay then, I''ll be back in a few and you stay away from water.


    Ocean smiled at the care and concern he showed to her. She sat down on the ground, deep in her


    thoughts she kept staring at theke. Moon ran like a normal human being until he was out of Ocean''s


    site. Then he zoomed to his Vi, took a jeans and t-shirt for ocean and zoomed back. No one ever


    knew the reason how Moon could run with such high speed. He was a male-undine, breathing under


    water was normal but zooming like a vampire wasn''t normal. But Moon never cared about it, he wasn''t


    allowed to show his powers, not even around the pack members. He carefully went back to ocean and


    gave her dry clothes. She stood up and Moon turned around to give her some privacy. When she was


    done with changing she called him out. Moon turned back to Ocean. A smile made its way to his lips.


    He was drooling over her but she didn''t feel scared or creepy. She narrowed her eyes in nervousness


    with a shy smile on her lips.


    Moon: It''s like these clothes are made for you.


    Ocean: What do you mean?


    Moon: I mean you look beautiful in my clothes.


    Ocean blushed even more and Moon chuckled.


    Ocean: I need to get back, uncle Jack must be worried about me.


    Moon: Hey! When will we meet again?
