    follow us?" Tammy protested in a small voice.


    Viviana said in a defeated voice, "You know my mother''s temper. You have to let him follow us unless


    you don''t want to go out and y!"


    "Forget it, forget it. Let''s just pretend he''s invisible!" Tammy''s voice was full of mockery.


    As'' hearing was far superior to that of an ordinary human being. The two thought they were being


    careful with their conversation, but As heard every word.
