Chapter 99 - I''m Invincible


    Arthur analyzed the Artificial Intelligence that Fan Tian had worked on for all those years. With his


    newfound ability, he was able to easily understand all of the features the technology had. He was


    astonished at the potential applications it could enable.


    "Tian," Arthur muttered under his breath, then turned to Tian sitting next to him.


    "Yes, Mr. Gardner?" Tian replied.


    "After I gave the technology you have researched for years a thorough analysis, I just realized that the


    Artificial Intelligence you created has far more features than what you presented at the Business


    Takeover."


    Tian had only stated during the presentation that his AI acted as a means of controlling drones for


    delivery purposes to reduce logistics costs. However, after Arthur delved further into the matter, he


    realized that the AI was capable of performing much moreplicated tasks and decisions.


    "It looks like your AI could even be used to power a humanoid-shaped machine, like a robot or


    something," Arthur remarked.


    Upon hearing Arthur''s words, Fan Tian fell into a state of awe. He was amazed by how quickly Arthur


    hade toprehend the AI he had created.


    "Yes, Mr. Gardner," he eventually replied, slowly nodding his head. "I apologize for not telling you this


    earlier. I''m scared that if too many people find out about this technology, I might be seen as someone


    who would do harm to humanity. That''s why I didn''t reveal everything in public. But, if you disagree with


    me getting funding for my research, then I''m prepared to step down."


    Arthur shook his head quickly. "No, that''s not at all what I was implying," he said. "But if this AI is


    capable of even greater feats, may I make full use of all the features you''ve put into it?"


    Tian swallowed and slowly nodded. "Mr. Gardner," he began, "I don''t care what you do with this AI

    Arthur nodded again. "Do you mind if Iter use this AI you created for evil?"


    Tian was silent for a moment, mulling over the implications of Arthur''s words. He was eager to continue


    his research, and if Arthur could provide the necessary funds to do so, then he would be more than


    content. But if Arthur intended to use the AI for evil purposes?


    "No," Tian answered firmly. "I''m trusting you with the technology I''ve created, Mr. Gardner. I''m sure you


    won''t use it for evil."


    Arthur chuckled, hearing Tian''s answer. "Why are you so sure of me?" he asked.


    Tian then lowered his head. "I''m sorry, Mr. Gardner," he said, "but you''re the first person who has truly


    appreciated what I''ve been doing. You gave me funding, too, and you also take the time to try to


    understand the technology I have created. At this point, I really don''t care if you use the AI I made for


    something bigger; it''s a sign that my creation can be used on arge scale. But in my heart, I believe


    you won''t use it for evil. Please forgive me if I''m wrong."


    Arthur chuckled again, "Don''t worry, I''ll tell you whatever I''m going to do," he reassured, "and if you


    mind we can reconsider."


    “Please!” Tian immediately answered firmly. “You don''t need to ask for opinions. You can make the


    most of this technology that I have created. I really don''t mind, Mr. Gardner. Just pretend I''m an


    employee working for you – the project ispletely yours.”


    Arthur nodded slowly, grabbed his smartphone, and called someone from there.


    After a few minutes, the door at the far end of the room opened, and Edna strolled in with a warm smile


    on her face, heading toward Arthur. "Yes, Boss?" she asked.


    "Edna, I''d like to show you something," Arthur said as he gestured to hisputer screen.


    Edna then sat beside Arthur and scooted closer to him, her eyes fixed on the same screen.


    "Thispany produces machines and heavy equipment, including automotive and other advanced


    technologies," Arthur said.


    "Do you want me to help you buy it, boss?" Edna asked casually.


    "Yes," Arthur nodded. “And please keep my identity hidden. I don''t want anyone to know that I acquired


    thepany. Do whatever you can to keep my endeavors there a secret. I n to utilize the factory


    and all the technology thepany has to create something special.”


    Upon hearing Arthur and Enda''s conversation, Tian immediately swallowed hard – he had not


    anticipated that Arthur would readily state he wished to buy argepany as if he had an


    inexhaustible supply of money.


    "Okay, boss," Edna said, her lips curling into a sweet smile as she slowly nodded. "I''ll do as you ask to


    the best of my ability."


    "Excellent," Arthur replied with satisfaction.


    Edna stood up, ready to leave the room, but before she had the chance, she nced back. "Um...,"


    she started.


    "Yes, Edna?"


    "Boss, sorry, do you want to postpone the business discussion with the other colleagues? They''ve


    been waiting for you for five hours now and must be getting anxious."


    "Ah? Really?" Arthur eximed, surprised that he had been in conversation with Tian for so long. He


    waspletely engrossed in the new information and knowledge which had piqued his interest.


    "Okay, give me 5 minutes, after this I will continue discussing with the others," he replied.


    Edna nodded and smiled warmly. "Alright, boss," she said before walking out of the room.


    After Edna had left, Arthur returned to exin to Tian his intention to purchase the newpany


    earlier.


    "I''m hoping to create a more advanced technology by utilizing the AI that you''ve developed," he

    However, Tian only nodded slowly, a hint of surprise on his face as he still hadn''t expected the steps

    "Do you know about The Underworld, Tian?" Arthur continued, his expression serious.


    "Yes," Tian replied, nodding in acknowledgement. "I''ve heard about how much influence they have on


    our lives, Mr. Gardner. And I also heard that they are high-ss criminals who are even capable of


    running the government."


    Arthur continued, "Do you mind if I use the technology you have created to destroy them?!"


    Tian was rendered speechless at Arthur''s suggestion. He wasn''t shocked by Arthur''s intention to


    destroy The Underworld but rather by Arthur''s fearlessness in doing so.


    “Mr. Gardner...” Tian responded hesitantly. “Please tell me what I need to do in order to facilitate your

    Arthur smiled and stood from his chair, gently patting Tian''s shoulder. "You''ve done your best," he said


    reassuringly. "Just keep doing what you''ve been doing. Let me help in my own way."


    Arthur then strode away, taking a deep breath and releasing it slowly. He had figured out a n to beat


    The Underworld, which was to use technology. Knowing that they were determined to defeat him,


    Arthur hade prepared with something special.

    "They need to know that I''m Invincible," he whispered as he advanced towards the room where Sylvia


    was waiting.


    Arthur knocked on the door and, upon hearing Sylvia''s voice from within, opened it. As he stepped


    inside, he was met with the sight of Sylvia standing there, wearing a smile on her face directed at him.


    At that very moment, Sylvia suddenly felt her heart racing, as if all of her energy hadpletely


    drained away the closer Arthur walked towards her. She dropped her gaze to the ground and muttered


    in a quiet voice, "What is happening to me? Why am I so nervous around Mr. Gardner?"
