Chapter 73 - No Respect for the Boss

Chapter 73 - No Respect for the Boss

A sleek, ck luxury car with avish design pulled up to the Brown Company high-rise building area,

followed closely by two other cars. They all parked in front of the lobby entrance.

A bodyguard in a ck suit stepped out of the car and opened the door of the frontmost car. From the

inside emerged a man wearing a sharp ck suit, his clothes immacte. Two women then came out

of the car next: a blonde in a stylish gray executive suit and skirt, and a young woman in a ck coat

and pants, her sunsses perched atop her shirt.

All eyes were instantly fixed on Arthur and the twodies who had apanied him. The trio made an

incredible impression, with Arthur''s well-formed and dashing figure and the two women who both

    looked stunning.

“Who is that guy?” someone eximed. “The two women who followed him were breathtakingly

    beautiful!”

“Is he a new client from Brown Company? I''ve never seen him before. He must be a very wealthy and

important person. Just look at the car he brought, it''s a super limited edition car that only ten units were

    produced in the world!”

"Are you serious? That car looks very expensive, do you know how much it costs?"

“200 million dors!” another person confirmed. “I''m sure I''m right, it really cost that much.”

    “Unbelievable!”

Arthur stepped towards therge ss door, which opened automatically as they entered. His heart

stirred with nostalgia as he reminisced about his time working there; even though it wasn''t the most

pleasant experience, he had worked hard. He was certain that thepany had untapped potential, if

    only…

"If only the trash in thispany could be eliminated," Arthur muttered wistfully, his gaze drifting off into

the distance. Edna turned towards him, her lips curving into a gentle smile.

"I''m sure thispany will be more advanced and bigger," he continued.

    "Boss..." Edna spoke softly.

    "Yes?"

"I have taken the necessary steps to ensure that your involvement in acquiring thispany remains

confidential, only known to the upper management," she exined.

    "Good work, Edna. Thank you."

Edna remembered the first time she met Arthur when he had made himself appear as though he was a

poor person, causing the other people to belittle and degrade him merely because of his unkempt

    appearance.

"Is this one of your hobbies, boss?" she continued.

"What do you mean, Edna?" he asked.

“Do you enjoy pretending to be someone of lower status, so that others will underestimate you, and

then you can prove them wrong and show them who you really are?”

"Didn''t Oppae looking really wealthy this time, Edna Unnie?" Alicia, who was walking on Arthur''s

    left, responded.

"He looked very stylish and affluent, and he was apanied by two stunningdies. I can''t

    him based on his appearance."

Arthur smiled at Alicia''s words and said, "I think you should meet more people so that you understand

just how vile some of them can be, Alicia."

The grand lobby of the building was filled with people who were taken aback by Arthur''s appearance. It

was as if three celebrities had suddenly appeared in a public ce; none of them recognized Arthur

and the two women apanying him.

"Who is he?" asked one of the bystanders.

However, from a distance, a man in beige clothes came running. His face contorted with rage, he

abruptly stopped in front of Arthur and pointed an using finger at him.

"What the hell are you doing here, Arthur!" John shouted, his voice echoing in the air. Arthur

recognized him as his former janitor manager.

“Hi, Mr. John, how have you been?" Arthur asked casually.

John was certain the man before he was Arthur; he had even answered when John called his name.

Yet, John was a bit perplexed; he couldn''t help but wonder, "Why is Arthur dressed so smartly, and why

did hee apanied by two gorgeous girls?"

All those who had before only vaguely recognized Arthur''s countenance were now convinced that it

was the same ex-janitor who had once been employed by theirpany.

"Is it really Arthur who used to be the janitor here?" one of them asked, astonished.

"What kind of joke is this? How did he end up here looking so different? Is he trying to make us believe

    he''s a wealthy man?"

"I almost believed his foolish charade," the other replied. "He clearly got fired from the job, so why is he

    still here?"

Several people couldn''t help but take notice of the remarkable sight that morning. Arthur, a pauper, had

somehow managed to look like a wealthy man and was escorted by two stunningly beautiful women.

Curiosity got the better of them, so the onlookers quickly gathered around him from a distance.

"What are you doing here? Why are you dressed like this? And who are these two beauties?"

John was still shouting at Arthur, but his face looked a little doubtful this time. For some reason, he felt

an enormous charisma from Arthur, something he hadn''t felt from him in the past.

"Of course I want to work here, okay, right?" Arthur answered calmly.

John''s hands shook nervously as he realized how much Arthur had changed. He couldn''t believe the

air of confidence that Arthur was radiating.

    "Get out now!!"

John yelled, his voice echoing through the expansive lobby.

"You''re fired as janitor and you won''t be able to apply for a job here again!"

“You are simply not worthy of being in this esteemedpany,” said John, sneering.

“I can tell you are trying to imitate the wealthy bying here again. But what purpose could you

possibly serve? You don''t even have the education required to be here. Being a janitor is already too

much for you, Arthur! You are an unlearned and foolish man; you must be aware of your own ce.

Now go, before you soil this ce with your presence!” he continued.

"Tsk!" Alicia, her patience growing ever thinner, shook her head in disbelief at the sight of the man in

front of her yelling profanities at Arthur.

She approached John. Her face was ame with anger. "How can someone so foolishly uneducated

still be here?" she demanded sharply. "Shut up, old man. Do you evenprehend who you''re

    addressing?"

John looked at Alicia, perplexed. He couldn''tprehend why she was so staunchly defending Arthur.

As John pondered his mistake, the people walked closer to Arthur.

"Hey, it''s Arthur, isn''t it? Aren''t you ashamed toe back here, after you were thrown out?" one

    person said.

"Who are the two girls with you, Arthur? Are you trying to get your job back here?" another asked.

A third person stepped forward. "Hey, make me a cup of coffee," he said, then attempted to put his

    hand on Arthur''s shoulder.

Alicia quickly blocked the man''s hand and spoke sternly. "Don''t you dare touch my boss with your filthy

    hands," she dered.

"Shut up, all of you. You''ll regret it if you don''t apologize immediately!"

Her strong words filled the room, and everyone was suddenly bewildered. Wasn''t Arthur just garbage?

Why was this girl standing up for him?

“Alicia, calm down,” Arthur said quietly to Alicia.

Everyone in that ce began to chatter about Arthur from a distance, attempting to uncover what had

actually urred. They found the whole thing both amusing and intriguing. However, they couldn''t help

but hurl insults and profanities at Arthur''s foolishness.

"You should remain concentrated on your tasks, and not let something like this cause you to

congregate here over trivial matters. Aren''t you all here to do a job? I''m sure you''vepletely wasted

your time on unimportant things." Arthur said firmly.

"What are you saying, Arthur? What gives you the right to say that here?" sneered one of them.

"You''re just useless trash. Why don''t you just get out of here? What purpose did you haveing here

dressed like that? Are you trying to pretend to be wealthy?" Another one said.

"Get out of here, Arthur. You''re just embarrassing yourself."

At that moment, Marco, who had been walking towards them with a stern expression, was now within

    earshot.

"Hey, Marco! This trash suddenly appeared in this ce," shouted one of them.

"Boss Marco, this is Arthur, the one you banished from this ce. Look how stupid he is toe back

    here pretending to be rich!"

When Marco was standing right in front of Arthur, he suddenly dropped to his knees and bowed his

head in reverence, leaving the people in the area utterly bewildered.

"What''s going on?" they whispered among themselves.
