Chapter 24 - The Princess is Saved


    Arthur kicked the couches around him with great force, sending them flying towards Aston''s


    bodyguards. His newfound power seemed to be getting the best of him, as the sudden force of the kick


    caused several people to stumble backwards.


    udina desperately tried to keep up with Arthur, running and scrambling to keep pace with him.


    Somehow, she felt a sense of security around the man, despite not being aware of his identity.


    "Chase them!" Aston shouted. "Hurry, you idiots!" He attempted to sprint between the couches spread


    in front of him.


    In response, one of the men quickly leaped onto the couch andunched himself at Arthur. "I''m gonna


    get you!" he bellowed.


    But Arthur was ready: he deftly spun around and delivered a powerful roundhouse kick, sending the


    man flying and crashing to the ground.


    Aston acted quickly, taking advantage of the opportunity and snatching one of the handguns that had


    dropped from Arthur''s jacket. His smirk of satisfaction spread across his face as he aimed the gun at


    the fleeing Arthur and udina. "I win!" he bellowed.


    Firmly holding the firearm, Aston aimed it straight at Arthur and uttered sternly: "You''re not getting


    away, man! You''ve picked a fight with a dragon and you''re no match for me!"


    Arthur nced over his shoulder as he ran, seeing that Aston had the handgun pointed in his direction.


    But he was aware that if Aston fired, udina would be the one to suffer the consequences.


    With his heightened sight, Arthur could see that Aston was on the verge of pressing the trigger, and he


    was certain that the bullet would strike udina''s heart.


    Realizing the urgency of the situation, Arthur frantically searched for a solution, his eyes darting from


    side to side. Just then, he spotted Aston''s finger on the trigger of his gun, poised to fire. He had to think


    of something quickly and act in a split second.


    Aston smiled with satisfaction, feeling victorious. "We must get rid of this man''s corpse as soon as


    possible," he said in a smug tone.


    Arthur moved quickly, seizing udina''s shoulder with both hands and pulling her back. Just in time, a


    bullet whizzed through the air, narrowly missing her slender shoulder and barely missing her skin.


    The bullet sped toward the towering ss door at the room''s far end. udina let out a terrified


    scream, her heart thudding wildly in her chest as fear consumed her. She had no choice but to put her


    faith in Arthur, and somehow, she hadpletely ced her trust in him.


    Arthur saw the shattered ss door ahead of them. Steeling his courage, he mmed his elbows and


    knees into the ss door, covering his eyes just before impact. There was an immediate loud crash,


    shattering the ss and catching the attention of several people outside.


    udina followed Arthur, ducking her head slightly to avoid being hit by the broken ss. Arthur had


    executed the move like a professional stuntman, though no one had known that it was his first time


    doing it.


    Arthur continued to grip udina''s hand tightly as he gazed at her with concern. Her expression


    revealed a blend of relief, joy, and surprise. Every emotion was inly visible on her face.


    "Are you alright, Ms. udina?" Arthur tenderly asked as he held her hand in his.


    The soft moonlight illuminated her delicate features, her lips curving into a warm smile as she nodded


    her head slowly in response.


    “Yes, I’m alright Mr. Glitzy.” She said, It seemed almost as if a celestial being had descended from the


    heavens, gracing them with her divine presence and blessings.


    "Where is your car?" Arthur asked udina, motioning toward the nearby VIP parking lot. She pointed


    to a blue sports car, and they both rushed back to it.


    "Wait a minute, that''s Mr. Glitzy, right? Did he seriously save Ms. udina from the Aston folks'' attack?


    Is this some kind of illusion?"


    "Did you guys see that? He just punched the window and it broke? I''m hoping this isn''t part of an action


    movie?"


    "He''s pulling off all the stunts on his own, like Jackie Chan does in his films."


    Arthur and udina quickly hopped into the blue sports car, a Chevrolet Corvette. Arthur, who was


    sitting in the driver''s seat, instinctively and with muscle memory, started up the engine.


    With a press of the gas pedal, the car revved loudly, the wheels screeched on the pavement, and it


    sped away with a thunderous roar that broke the peacefulness of the night.


    Some people had just watched a live, action-packed movie, leaving them feeling as though they had


    just stepped out of the theater.


    That night, a man of unknown identity courageously fought off a dozen or so heavily-built and armed


    bodyguards. He managed to save the Snow White princess, disying to all a feat of heroism that no


    one could believe was real.


    Aston emerged from the building, and upon seeing that Arthur''s car had already zoomed away, his fury


    was palpable as heshed out, delivering a swift kick to the wall pir in front of him.

    He cursed angrily, delivering a swift kick to the men beside him. "What are you thinking?! Why did you


    surrender your weapons? Are you trying to get yourselves killed?!"


    At that moment, they heard a sounding from their phones, and upon checking, they were


    astonished to find that a hundred million dors had been freshly transferred to their bank ount.


    They were caught between disbelief and delight. All ten people threw their weapons at Arthur while

    my life to him."

    The ten bodyguards faced Aston and then bowed and began to walk away.


    "Boss, we have finished our work for you. Goodbye," one of them said.


    "Boss, we hope you find an even better bodyguard than us," another one added, "though we''re certain


    it won''t be possible."


    "Damn it!" Aston eximed angrily, his face turning red with rage as he castigated them all. "You''re all


    useless!"

    "Shut up, system!" Arthur murmured to himself, causing udina, who was sitting beside him, to flinch


    and turn her head towards Arthur.


    "Mr Glitzy?" she said slowly, in a voice that became clearer when they were both inside the car. Their


    car was speeding through the city streets.


    "Yes?" he replied, turning towards her as the car sped through the city streets.


    "Do you mind if I ask you something?" she asked tentatively, her voice growing louder.


    "No, of course not," he said, his voice calm and reassuring. "What is it?"


    She paused, gathering her thoughts, and then spoke in a determined voice.


    "I am so grateful to you, but I am not sure how I could possibly thank you enough for all that you have


    done for me tonight. If I have gone too far, I apologize. Would you mind telling me who you are? I feel


    like I have heard your voice before and I think you may be the same person I am thinking of."
