youpany.Avery gazed at his handsome face which had turned slightly pink.
"Why are you going around the bush, Elliot? You were the one who tricked me intoing here, right?
You worked with the vice president—" she said bluntly.
"I think we need some space away from each other," interjected Elliot, then gazed at her with his deep-
set eyes and asked hoarsely, "Are you really going to chase me thousands of miles away?"
