Chapter 5


    The  next day, I woke up and quickly got dressed I have a very important task ahead of me this


    morning, Bring Jace back to the Coffee shop, I don''t care how stupid that sounds but that was what I


    needed to get my job back. I set out to jace''spany,and was amazed by how beautiful and well


    structured it was, I don''t think i have ever seen a ce like this or maybe it was just because I didn''t go


    out as often as I should. I made my way to the entrance and spoke to the security men who by the way


    didn''t want me to go in,, I pleaded and exined how urgent it was for me to see him.


    A blonde beautifuldy came over "Frank, what''s going on here? she asked the security man whose


    name was Frank and he opened his mouth to exin but she didn''t even give him a chance as she


    turned to look at me "How can I help you? " She asked me so politely and I immediately began to


    exin to her why I was there, she smiled and beckoned on me to follow her


    "Mr Norman isn''t around but if you don''t mind you can wait to see him!" She tells me and I nodded, I


    didn''t think it was going to be easy to actually see him but look at that, I don''t know who exactly it is that


    she was but she was definitely a life save and a soon to be job saver, I smiled internally and continued


    walking with her till arrived at what seemed to be a waiting room.


    I gently too a seat and waited for what seemed like hours, I could see some of the employees in their


    offices while some were just arriving, I used to dream of working in apany like this but maybe after


    college it would be possible to do. I checked the time on my wrist and saw that about two hours had


    passed yet he still wasn''t here, I can''t lie it was beginning to get tiring just sitting and expecting him to


    arrive but he eventually came


    "Sarah i want those files immediately!"


    I shivered at the sound of this voice, i could see all the workers focused. I could hear his footsteps


    knew he wasn''t in a good mood, i choose the wrong day toe i muttered to myself and sat there.


    He came into the room heading towards his office,he nced briefly at me and he looked away. I let


    out my breath i didn''t even realize i was holding my breath, I had no idea why i was so scared of seeing


    him, maybe because I knew my job depended on his response


    I waited for what seemed like forever before i was called into his office. I stepped in and noticed he was


    on a call, i took a look at the room, everything looked so expensive it was surprisingly calm and


    peaceful in the room, it was a mixture of brown and white! It was quite an elegant office. I didn''t know if


    i was supposed to sit or stand! I had absolutely no idea what to do but I eventually decided on sitting, I

    quietly took my seat and waited till he was done


    He was done with the call and was now facing me his eyes were more captivating, his chiseled jaws


    giving him a more defined look, His well carved nose, I didn''t know if he was more handsome now or


    the first time I saw him.His muscles were begging to be let free from his really expensive suit


    It could pay my sry for a year I thought to myself


    "Take a picture itst longer!" I heard a deep voice say and I gulped hard as he said that, Who knew


    his voice could make me shiver internally


    "How can i help you miss... ?" He says as he waited for me to talk "ke" i interrupted him quickly, "I''m


    really sorry, I don''t..."


    "Get to the point I don''t have all day" He says rather bluntly and I flipped , This man was really


    intimidating, and I started to shake "I''m sorry Mr Norman, i am thedy who spilled coffee on you about


    two days ago and i got fired, The manager of the coffee shop said i could only get rehired if you forgave


    me and came back to the shop!" I rushed out because I didn''t want to get cut off by him, I waited for his


    response while my heart hammered loudly in my chest


    He looked at me with disbelief "You''ve got to be kidding me, you''re wasting my time on such a silly


    thing after ruining in my day! What in the world is this and who let you into mypany? I can''t believe


    this!" He says angrily


    "Please, I know it was wrong of me to do what I did but It was a mistake, I already got fired because of


    this, I just need you too..." I quickly rushed out but was interrupted


    "Do you seriously think I am jobless and woulde to you damned coffee shop to tell your manager


    to rehire you? What guts do you possess?" He yells at me angrily


    "If you could please.." I attempt to say but his loud yelling shut me up


    "Sarah!!, Sarah!!" He called out and the blondedy came rushing into the office "Get thisdy out of


    here, I have absolutely no interest in this bullshit, If per adventure I ever see her near this ce then


    you will be sure to kiss your job goodbye!" He tells thedy who stood there shaking.


    I stood up quietly and nced back at the man who seemed to have no time to listen to what I was


    about to say and nodded "I''m sorry!"
