Chapter 8: 08 - Another Day


    Autumn''s Point of View


    It''s been an hour since he said to me that I should wait for him to finish his work; therefore, we can go


    home that night and we will eat in some fancy restaurant that I declined. I am happy if I''m the one who


    will cook for him, that makes us like we are eating well. I''m hoping too.


    “Sorry, there is just an emergency that happened in the office, and it''s quite depressing. By the way,


    where are my children?” He asks while stress has upied his whole face how I wish that I have my


    children to take care of and relieve my stress.


    “They are sleeping, should I wake them up; therefore, their father will have a smile buried on his face.


    They don''t want their da da to be sad, right?” I answered while smiling at him, well, I just want to see


    his smile.


    It''s like an addiction; he sighed and faked a smile. I tried to stand up, and I didn''t know my body started


    to do what it wanted and hugged him.


    “Don''t think about the hug I did, but you need to rx. Let''s go, and I will cook for you, ” I said while


    smiling at him, ignoring the heat I''m feeling to my body.


    Well, I distanced myself and started to push the stroller. The day was so fast to end, and as the day


    goes by, it''s hard to earn money but, one thing for sure is a billionaire is so hard to sustain your


    business.


    We started walking in the parking lot of hispany; he began to say a word that I didn''t fully hear.


    “Can you repeat it, I don''t quite understand it, ” I said while frowning my brows because it is evident


    that he lowered his voice, so I can''t hear it.


    “I don''t say anything, Ms Saunders, ” He acted innocently that I began to go to his side and tickled him


    that made himugh.


    Oh, I don''t even think that I will have a chance to bond with a Billionaire. That''s a lot of luck, I could say.


    “You can go first, Ma''am, ” He jokingly said and opened the door of the backseat. I just hold his hand


    and went inside, he gave me the twins, and I kept it with both of my hands afraid to wake them up while


    he started to pick the stroller and put it in the back of the car.


    “Are you okay?” He asks while sitting in the driver seat. I just nodded, trying to forget what I did earlier.


    “Can we go to the marketce? I will just buy ingredients for dinner, ” I asked him but, he just smiled at


    me and shook his head.

    “No, you should rest with the twins while I will be the one who will buy the ingredients, ” He said. I will


    try to answer because he needs a rest too but he just stops me.


    “Rest assured, I will rest while you''re cooking, ” He said, and I don''t have any choice but to agree.


    I will sleep for a while because he is still driving, and my eyes start to close.


    “Wake up, we are here,” A voice wakes me up and I don''t know how many minutes I sleep but my


    hands are free to move because he is holding the now two baby in both of his hands.


    What the heck, He should have seen how I sleep, and it''s quite embarrassing.


    “Sorry about that,” I apologised to him but, he just smiled at me and answered, “I don''t mind, and


    besides, you look cute when you''re sleeping,” He jokingly said andugh. I started to roll my eyes and


    got on his side.


    “What a magnificent name, okay, let''se in. It''s gettingte Mr Parker, ” I say while smiling at him


    and offering my hand but, he justughs. Maybe I''m his happiness now, just kidding. That''s hard to


    imagine because he is a freaking billionaire while me, I''m just a slum.


    When we got inside, he started to drop Summer in their bedroom while giving them a peck of a kiss.


    “I will just buy groceries; you can rest for a while and by the way what snacks do you want?” He said


    while ying the keys in his hand, do I need to choose my snacks. It''s embarrassing because I''m just


    his caretaker and I have the guts to make him buy things for me.


    “No, I will just buy things tomorrow, and you don''t have to buy me snacks, ” I said, but he just frowned.


    “That''s not a big deal besides, you''re one of my family now, and this is just my treat for taking care of


    my children, ” He assured me but, for me, this is my job he doesn''t need to be thankful.


    I should be the one who should thank him because of giving me the opportunity even though; I didn''t


    make it in the Receptionist position but, this is so much higher in that, and I don''t know that I will have a


    chance to get to live with a hot billionaire.


    When he left, I started to look in the mirror. Oh my, he didn''t even tell me that I look like a witch


    because of my face. My hair is a mess, and my make-up is ruined. That''s so embarrassing.


    I started to run in thefort room to wash my face andb my hair; when I go back, the twins are


    sleeping peacefully.


    This is the time they should bathe, but, I will just wait for Jaxon, so I have apanion. It''s hard to


    shower two kids in the bathtub.


    I was shocked when the phone of Jaxon in the living room, well he has a phone for his business too.


    I don''t want to read what it is but my curiosity filled me and now, I''m reading it.


    Spring: Hi, Jaxon, how are you?


    What happened to our children, do you take care of them?


    Spring? She is so familiar to me. Who is she?
