Ian restrained his expression and pretended to be abstinent. He responded nobly and coldly. “It’s fine.”
Kelly did not ask further. Instead, she continued the previous topic. “Did the director offend you in any
way, Mr. Walter?”
That guy would seek revenge for the smallest grievance. Although she managed to interrupt him from
hitting the director, she had no way to guarantee that he would not take revenge behind her back.
Jan frowned slightly at the mention of the director. A cold glint shed across his eyes. “He deserves to
die!”
Kelly was speechless.
