She Outshines 65
Chapter 65
The vi was enclosed by walls on three sides, with a grand, wrought-iron gate on the front. Beyond
the gate stretched a nearly 70-foot-long stone path leading straight to a beautiful two-story building.
To the left of the path was a garage, while to the right stood a two-story annex.
In front of the annex stood a graceful magnolia tree in full bloom, its pure white flowers and soft
fragrance uplifting to all who were in its presence. Everyone looked at the vi with admiration, their
eyes reflecting their awe.
Ca entered the code on the iron gate’s keypad and led the Donovan family inside.
“The garage can amodate four or five small cars,” she said. The building on the right is the
annex, roughly a thousand square feet. It has four rooms upstairs and two rooms downstairs,
typically used by the butler, tutors, chauffeurs, and servants. There is a corridor connecting the
annex and the main house, which makes it convenient to move around in bad
weather
As Ca led them into the main house, they were struck by the exquisite interior. They were
amazed at how a ten-year-old pre-owned house was so well maintained that it looked about
seventy percent new, spotless, and dust-free. The vi was also equipped with furniture and
appliances. Although not brand new, they were well cared for and quite valuable.
In the living room, a middle-aged man sat on the sofa. When he saw the Donovan familly, he waved
his hand and greeted. them with a warm smile. He said, Tm William Howard, the owner of this vi.
I traveled from Valemont City just to handle the paperwork, and once it’s done, I need to rush back
“To be frank, everything about the house is great, and the furniture and appliances will remain. The
only downside is that
energy here might not be very good, which is why Tm selling it at a loss:

“Feel free to look around. If there are no issues, sign the purchase agreement and pay the 1 million
dor down payment. I’ll hand over the keys on the spot. The remaining bnce can be settled
within a week.”
The Donovan family exchanged nces. They were astonished by how efficient and straightforward
everyone they had met in the past few days was. It felt like everything was moving at lightning
speed.
An hourter, all the contracts were signed. The agreements from Bard Property had been signed
by thepany’s legal representative and stamped with thepany seal. Once the Donovan
family signed, the contracts took immediate effect
What made it even more unbelievable was that, right after the contract was signed, Bard Property
transferred nearly 4 million dors-covering both the house payment and the loan into multiple bank
ounts under Wesley’s and ire’s
names.
After receiving the down payment, William immediately ced the property certificate, house card,
and keys on the table. “The vi belongs to you from now on; it’s no longer my concern,” he said
with a heartyugh. Tm leaving now. If you have any questions or need toplete the property
transfer, let me know and I’lle back to Kitmore City right away.”
With a casual wave, he took his briefcase and headed out the door, leaving the Donovan family
dumbfounded. They wondered if everything that had just happened was real. Buying or selling a
house was a major life decision, and yet, they had managed to do both in a single day. Their heads
were spinning from how surreal it all felt.
Before they could gather their thoughts, Ca cheerfully said, ‘Mr. Donovan, we’ve also prepared
the employment contract. Are you willing to ept our offer?”
way
The Donovan family was speechless. They couldn’t believe their luck. It was as if the stars had
aligned, and the w everything fell into ce for them all at once was hard to process.
Taking a deep breath, Wesley stood up and said earnestly, “I am willing to ept your offer. I
promise to do my best in this job.
Ca replied with equal seriousness, “Mr. Donovan, I believe in you, and so does ourpany.”

She then took the employment contract from her briefcase, opened it, and ced it on the table.
“Thepany has signed. the contract. Once you sign it, you’ll be our General Manager. As for
your start date, it’s up to you, but we hope it’s within at
week.”
After carefully reviewing the contract, Wesley nodded. ‘I’ll take day to rest at home and report to
work the day after
tomorrow.”
“Great!” Ca looked pleased. “Call me before you report, and I assist you with the onboarding
process.”
Ten minutester, Ca shook hands with Wesley and sincerely said, “Wee to Bard Property,
Mr. Donovan.”
Thank you, Wesley replied in a grateful tone.
He was about to invite Ca to dinner that evening as a gesture of gratitude when she took out a
car key from her briefcase and ced it on the table. ording topany policy, the General
Manager is provided with a car. The one parked outside the vi is assigned to you. Feel free to use
it as you wish
The Donovan family was once again stunned. They had just bought a grand vi at a ridiculously
cheap price, been offered a high-paying job, and now received a car.
Before they could respond, Ca said with a grin, “I’vepleted my tasks and need to head back
to the office. Goodbye. everyone.” She made a swift exit, practically bolting out the door
They chased after her to the gate but Ca had already left in a security patrol car. As Wesley
watched the car drive into the distance, he was deep in thoughts
“Ouch, it hurts! I’m not dreaming, am I?” Arthur pinched his own cheek and then cupped his face
with his hand.
ire and Maria were amused by him, no longer bewildered.
“Since the vi is so clean and well-equipped, how about we move in tonight?” Athena suggested to
her family.
“Tonight?” Everyone was surprised. “That’s too soon, isn’t it?”
“I don’t think so,” Athena said seriously. “I feel like the attention on our family hasn’t died down yet. If
we continue to stay in the old ce, we might be photographed or harassed again.”
Thinking about the recent troubles they had faced, everyone shuddered and looked at Wesley. He
quickly snapped out of his daze and said decisively, “I think it’s a good idea. Come on, let’s choose
our rooms now. Ladies first, then Arthur, and ire and I will pickst.”
The family of six walked back to the living room to head upstairs.
“Athena, wait a moment, ire suddenly called out.
Athena stopped in her tracks and turned to look at her.
ire took out a piece of paper from her bag, holding it out to her with both hands. “This is an IOU
from your father and me, as we discussed. You need to keep it safe,” ire said in a serious tone.
“But even if you lose the IOU, we’ll still honor the agreement.”
“Oh, Athena murmured, remembering their discussion. She nced at the paper and was about to
slip it into her bag when she noticed something. “Mom, Dad, there’s a mistake. You wrote the
amount as 1.2 million,” she said, her brows furrowing slightly.
