    on what had happened below. A man stood beside her quietly as she asked, “What do you think he’s


    here for?” Yasmin looked into the distance, even though Mike was no longer there.


    The man shook his head and said, “I have no idea.”


    “He’s here for his son.” The queen narrowed her eyes. Although she had not seen Mike before, a guard


    had informed her about him.


    She also knew Rhea had an argument with him and saw how the guards threw him out of the embassy.


    “Oh.” Seemingly uninterested in this, the man did not pry.


    “He wants to rescue his son, but I can’t let it happen,” Yasmin said, sounding somewhat sad, “I must


    keep the boy for something important.”


    “Well, if Your Majesty needs the child, you shouldn’t let him go.”


    Yasmin nced at the man and shook her head. “But his son might have to die.”


    “It will be his honor to be a sacrifice for you, Your Majesty.”


    “Is that all you’re going to say?” Yasmin stared at the man, somewhat irritated.


    “You’re not a robot, you know.”


    “I’m sorry to upset you, Your Majesty, but my job is to protect you and act on your interests,” the man


    spoke respectfully.

    cheer me up, but for what? His ambition is greater than his abilities!”

    for her trap if not for his greed.
