    up, grabbed a disposable cup to fill it, and asked, “Do you want some?”


    Alexander shook his head slightly as he sat still with his arms crossed.

    At that moment, footsteps sounded from outside. Alexander looked over and saw two men showing up

    Fred raised his brow but was not too surprised. He nodded and took the seat beside Alexander. “That’s


    right, but people just call me Fred.”


    “Then you must be familiar with these emails.” Alexander stood up and picked up the printouts from the


    coffee table to hand them over.


    Fred nced at him but did not take the files. Instead, the man beside him grabbed the papers and


    sized Alexander up. The man only gave the printouts to Fred after ensuring they were safe.


    Fred held the papers up and skimmed through them before letting out a half-smile. “I wonder where


    you obtained these emails. You’re right. I was the one who sent the invitations.”
