"When did youe back?" Lemuel ignored Verena and asked Eden softly.
Eden smiled and exined, "I have been back for only a few days. And I have been working since I
came back. So I didn''t have time to go home yet."
Cole, who stood beside, suddenly looked at Verena meaningfully, "Eden, who is she?"
"She is my new assistant. What''s the matter?" Eden smiled.
Cole also smiled, "Eden, have you heard about the story of the evil stepmom of Snow White?"
"Snow White? You love to read fairy tales recently?" Eden didn''t know what he meant. So he just
smiled to reply.
Cole shook his middle finger, "No, no, no! I am not talking about fairy tales but the stepmom of Snow
White in reality. Just guess if the so-called stepmom would y a different role? For example, perhaps
she would be a kind of mistress who conspires to take over a huge and prestigious family."
When hearing that, Verena, who was just lost in thought, suddenly collected herself. As she raised her

"Lemuel…" Eden smiled and continued, "The road is covered by snow. Be careful."
"Lemuel, pick me up tonight, okay? I want a ride!" Cole smiled fawningly.
"I am busy!" Lemuel huffed coldly and then turned around to nce at Verena through the corner of his
eyes. Then he strode out of the shooting site.
Both Eden and Cold walked forward together shoulder to shoulder. Verena sighed a breath of relief and
followed them behind. She could clearly hear the conversation between them.
"Why did Lemuel send you to the shooting site in person?"
"That is because I am so charming!" Cole smiled and sometimes nced at Verena, who followed
behind with her head down.
Eden looked at him, speechless, "Stop kidding…"
"The old man suddenly asked me to live in Lemuel''s mansionst night! When Lemuel went back to get
some files this morning, he happened to meet me. And we heard that you had been back. He wanted
to meet you. So he gave me a ride. Do you think Lemuel would be so kind to me that he would send
me here in person? Don''t be kidding!"
"Alright, the shooting is about to start. Get yourself changed."
"Okay, see you then. Well, see you again, stepmom of Snow White!" Cole waved at them giddily and
followed his assistant to the dressing room.
Eden looked at his frivolous smile and then smiled at Verena, "Sorry, Cole has been a flippant boy.
Please don''t mind it if he offends you."

She knew about the personality of Cole quite well.
The shooting was soon started.
Today, Cole was serving as a model of thetest winter clothing designed by Voule, an Italian famous
brand. Cole stood under the light while wearing a knee-length army green overcoat with a V-neck
sweater. He flung the coat backward, looking cool and attractive.
Though Verena hated Cole for being flippant, there was no denying that he looked totally different when
