Chapter 26 Catch a Cold


    While Verena was still lost in thought, water on the surface was sshed all of a sudden.


    She was suddenly startled and looked at theke as it sounded. Then she saw another one jump into


    theke with a nice posture.


    It was exactly Eden.


    He didn''t even get changed. He simply jumped into theke with an oxygen mask.


    Though it was a sunny day, it still felt cold as it was autumn. So it was much more chilly under the


    water.


    As re just jumped into theke, her face turned twisted because of coldness. It looked really awful.


    But Eden still dived beneath her to look for a nice angle to shoot pictures.


    re''s face turned livid as she was chilled. Even her mood worsened a lot. Her pose looked stiff and


    weird. She went above the surface to breathe some fresh air from time to time. Then she dived again.

    Half an hourter, all staffs standing beside theke looked more anxious.


    Though re herself was aware that she had to keep a natural-looking face to get the best picture, she


    still felt quite annoyed because of coldness. So it made her more difficult to get a better shoot.


    However, since she had jumped into theke, she would bear it to manage to maintain the best pose


    as much as she could rather than simply struggle out of chill. She just wanted to finish it as soon as


    possible.


    "I know that re has been spoiled in a rich family! You have heard about Director n, right? Do you


    think she could simply get this film and ad if she didn''t sleep with him? You guys should know that how


    awful her acting skill is! Only god knows how many times she had hopped onto Director n''s bed!"


    "It has been about an hour! Why haven''t they finished? It must be freezing cold down the water!"


    "Come on, don''t worry about it! Even re herself didn''t get anxious yet! Just take your time!"


    "Come on, I am worried about that handsome photographer! I don''t want him to be exhausted just


    because of her stupid work!"


    "Yeah, I agree! Though I have seen so many male stars, only few of them look more attractive than that


    photographer! He is so appealing and gentle! Oh my god, I want to shape my face by stic surgery! I


    have to be his girlfriend when I look better!"


    "Yeah, so do I!"


    When hearing the whisper between the two assistants beside her, Verena couldn''t help smiling.


    If she could, she really wanted to gossip and daydream just like what they did!


    As time went by, the shooting was finally done.


    As soon as re get out of the water, Verena hurried to walk over to cover her with nket. Then she


    helped to dry her hairs with towel.


    "Well, you did a good job this time." re squinted at her and then sneezed out of chill.


    Verena asked, "Do you want some hot water?"


    "No! There is no shooting tonight. After checking the pictures, you can go home. You don''t need to


    follow me."


    "Okay." Verena answered softly.


    Soon, all pictures were transferred to theputer, through the screen of which she saw that the


    glowing sunlight came straight through the clear water and shed on re''s face. She looked bright and


    pure while she was fixing her eyes on the surface of theke. Her smile under the water looked


    innocent and gorgeous.


    The next picture was taken under the sunset. There were a few yellow leaves floating on the surface,


    beside which re''s upper body reached out of the water. Waterdrops streamed down her face while


    she was smoothing her hairs backward. She looked natural and rxed.


    What a nice and romantic picture!


    Verena fixed her eyes on the screen. She was totally amazed and so did the crew members.


    None of them had ever expected that the photographer could make re, a weird looking model under


    the water, so ethereal and gorgeous in the pictures. What an amazing guy!


    Obviously, re was quite satisfied with her pictures. She kept smiling still.


    After checking it, she was about to leave. But just as she took two steps forward, she suddenly stopped


    and turned around to say to Verena, "Oh, by the way, my fur coat is left in the dressing room. Don''t


    forget to bring it when you leave. Have it dry cleaned and take it to me tomorrow!"


    Verena nodded and then asked a crew member beside her about the location of dressing room. Since


    the night was about to fall, she needed to leave now.


    "Go to the second floor and turn left. Head straight the corridor till you reach thest third room."


    As Verena was going upstairs, she kept repeating the location mentioned by the crew member in case


    she forgot it.


    Only her footsteps sounded on the corridor. She took one step then another. It sounded clear and loud.


    Just as she was looking for the room, she happened to notice that a man in ck was sitting beside a


    French window on the left of the corridor. He leaned against the window but Verena couldn''t see his


    face.


    Verena took a look at him again and felt that he looked quite familiar. She deemed that he might be the


    photographer just now.


    But she didn''t know why he sat on the ground. Was he feeling sick?


    She walked over and saw he was indeed the photographer as she got closer.


    Verena frowned and asked confusedly, "Sir, why are you sitting here? Sir?"


    But Eden didn''t reply. He just kept sitting on the ground, unmoved.


    Verena seemed to notice something wrong. She squatted down and tried to touch his body. However,


    she almost screamed out as soon as she touched him.


    She was so surprised to know that his clothes were still wet all over. There was even water streaming


    down from his body.


    Then she turned his face aside. He looked pale and weak. Even his breath felt a bit hot.


    Verena was a bit stunned. She touched his forehead and felt that he was burning hot at this moment.


    Undoubtedly, he was catching a cold. However, he seemed to feel sick more than that as he pressed


    on his belly with his hand. She could tell that his stomach might be sick as well.


    But the most important thing was to strip off his wet clothes and get him changed.


    It took her quite a lot of efforts to support him into a room. She started to sweat on her forehead.


    "Sir, can you get yourself changed?" Verena gasped for air while sitting down beside him. Then she


    tried to remind Eden.


    Eden finally raised up his head, frowning while looking at her. He managed to say, "What?"


    "You need to get yourself changed. Or you will feel worse. Let me get some clean clothes for you."


    When seeing him nod, she stood up to walk to the dressing room beside.
