Narcissa and Glinda are both seen discussing when Phoenix entered. Her head was curled sadly and one could see the gloom on her face. Turning and seeing her, the two women walked up to her. Glinda took her handspelling her to look up.


    ” What happened, dear? How is Axion? ” She threw the question at her.


    ” He’s fine, aunt. It actually worked ” Phoenix forced a smile up her lips and Glinda beamed.


    ” Thank goodness ” Narcissa heaved.


    ” What about you, Phoenix, how are you doing? ” She asked.


    ” I’m okay. Just feeling a little bit tired ” Phoenix looked down sadly making Narcissa frown.


    ” Then why do you look all gloomy and unhappy? Do you regret doing what you did?  ” Phoenix looked up immediately.


    ” No, no. I don’t ” She defended.


    ” I would never regret saving Axion ”


    ” Then what’s wrong? ” Glinda asked and Phoenix looked down again, sniffing back the tears buckling up in her eyes. Glinda squeezed her hand lovingly.


    ” Tell me what happened, Phoenix. Did Axion hurt you in any way? ”


    ” Aunt…” Phoenix swallowed back the tears, looking up.


    ” He doesn’t remember what happened between us ” She finally said, breaking down in tears.


    ” Oh,” Glinda mouthed as guilt struck her and she pulled Phoenix to hug.


    ” Sush, my dear. Stop crying ” She patted her back.


    ” He assumed I drugged him and took advantage of him. Why will I do something like that? ” Phoenix mumbled.


    ” I tried rifying everything to him but he doesn’t believe me. He won’t even look at me in the face ” She cried and the guilt Glinda was feeling only tripled. Even Narcissa couldn’t help but feel sorry.


    ” I’m so sorry, my dear. I’m really sorry ” Glinda apologized as Phoenix sobbed. Narcissa ced her hand on Phoenix’s shoulder making her look up with teary eyes, pulling out of the hug.


    ” It’s not his fault, Phoenix. Breaking his bond with Melinoe was like erasing some part of his memory. He won’t remember now but he will eventually ” Phoenix’s eyes glittered a little in hope.


    ” Really? ”


    ” Yes, my dear. Now, stop crying, ok? ” Narcissa assured and Phoenix cleaned her tears. Glinda shed a proud smile.


    ” Thank you so much, Phoenix. I can’t express how indebted I am that you came into Axion’s life. If not for you, he would’ve been gone, a long time ago. He’s so lucky to have you as his Phoenix and I know that one day he will realize that too ” She expressed and Phoenix chuckled happily.


    ” I love him, aunt. I’d do anything to protect him ” She muttered, and both Glinda and Narcissa’s eyes widened a bit as they both nced at each other before looking at Phoenix.


    ” Did… you… just say… you love Axion? ” Glinda chuckled in disbelief and Phoenix nodded sheepishly.


    Glinda pulled her into another hug before cing a kiss on her forehead.


    ” Bless you, my dear. Your love for Axion won’t go to waste. I’m sure that one day he will start feeling the same for you. I’m sure of it ” She assured.


    ” I hope so, aunt ” Phoenix smiled softly.


    Phoenix went back home. Arriving, she headed straight upstairs to Axion’s room. She was yet about to open the door when it opened instead, revealing Axion. Their gaze locked but Axion promptly looked away.


    He was still angry with her. What made him even more annoyed was when he saw the bloodstain on the bedsheet when Phoenix left. He was shocked to the bone but it also angered that she was still a virgin. How is that even possible?


    He made to walk past her when Phoenix held his hand making him re at her.


    ” Can we talk? ” Phoenix asked, overlooking his re and he shoved her hand off.

    ” I don’t care about it ” He replied inly. Phoenix felt pain stab her heart but she swallowed it back. And when Axion wanted to leave, she held his wrist again. She wasn’t letting him go until he listens to what she had to say.


    ” What do you what, Phoenix?! ” Axion groaned in frustration.


    ” There is also something crucial I need to tell you ”


    ” And I told you I don’t care to know! ” Axion half yelled.

    Axion was at home, in his library going through the pages of a book. Phoenix left to see Glinda. She has been doing that a lottely since Axion has been avoiding her like a gue.


    The truth of the matter was that Axion couldn’t concentrate on the book he was reading as Phoenix kept popping up in his mind. He just couldn’t stop thinking about what she told him about Melinoe possessing him and she saving him.


    Was she telling the truth? Did he willingly have sex with her? Why will she go as far as losing her virginity to him just to save him? What if she is lying? Why can’t he remember anything?


    These questions kept bugging him and he lost interest in the book and kept it back. Heid back on the chair and rested his head, his eyes closed.

    ” Get out! “His voice came out stern and Crue couldn’t deny her heart skipped in fear.
