She stepped closer and ced her hand on his shoulder, shing him an assuring smile. She held the pendant on the ne and her smile turned into a wild, evil grin as she crushed it to pieces and the ne fell off.
Immediately it dropped to the floor, Axion felt a huge part of him leave his body and he grew weak instantly. Leaning her face to his ear,
” Don’t worry. I promise it won’t hurt ” Phoenix whispered to him.

Axion wasn’t even done with the question when he felt something piece into his skin making him moan in extreme pain.
It turned out Phoenix had bitten him, her sharp fangs gnawing into his neck. Blood oozed out and Phoenix licked off some of it. With her fingernails turning into sharp ws, she cut her wrist with it and brought it to Axion’s neck, making sure the blood dripped down and mixed with the one on Axion’s neck.
Axion writhed in more pain as ws drew out of his fingers and his eyes turned dark. The wound on his neck healed up and he froze on the spot like he was possessed.
Phoenix’s smirk grew wider and she ran her fingers through Axion’s face.

It turned out she wasn’t Phoenix but an extremely beautiful woman who looked just like a goddess. If possible, she could be one. ” And her mate is none other than your Axion who is also a possession of the King of all Dark Genie. I was just helping her distract you so she can get what she wants. You know I had to make you believe I wanted to possess Axion, so my mother can attack when you aren’t on guard ”
Phoenix’s brain was already swirling in confusion, panic, and disbelief. She didn’t even know where to start digesting the truth.

Barging the door of his office open, her eyes almost popped out of their sockets seeing Melinoe hugging Axion.
