    Lilian suggested they should go somewhere else to rx, and de-stress. So, without any further


    ado, they decided to travel. As always, unnned vacation was the best, and as soon as they their


    home, Danie was excited to redeem herself, the old version of herself, before meeting a man


    named Marcus.


    Fortunately, Paloma offered to supervise their kids!


    It took them a day to arrive at their destination, but it was worth it. The ce was refreshing, but


    they decided to rx for an entire night before exploring the entire resort, and the nearby tourist


    attractions in the whole province.

    Danie was overstuffed and drowsy, so as soon as she returned to her room, she threw herself


    onto the bed and put her phone''s headset into it, where she listened to her favorite music. When


    Lilian returned, her eyelids were closed but she was not quite sleeping. After Patty and Thalia


    returned home with their children, Danie chose to share a room with Lilian to cement their


    sisterhood.


    When Lilian secured the door and perched on the side of the bed, she heard the click of the handle.


    "Are you not tired?" When Lilian stayed sitting after a few seconds, she inquired with her eyes


    closed.


    "Dani...," Marcus murmured her name, and Danie sat up straight when she realized it wasn''t


    Lilian who had entered the room but... him!


    "Marcus! How did you get here?" Danie inquired, and it urred to her that Gerald''s concerns


    may be justified. Was Marcus the one who orchestrated everything to keep her alone? Alternatively,


    was it Lilian?


    "I told you you were mine," he said as he pinned her to the bed. If necessary, he would use force to


    educate her!


    Danie guffawed.


    Why do males frequently express themselves in this manner? As though they owned the woman? "I


    have no recollection of my family selling me to you, Marcus." She answered with a caustic remark.


    "You do not own me, Marcus, nor will you ever!" She continued.


    "You have no option, Dani, or your daughter will never see you again!" He made a threat against


    her. Marcus was well aware that using their daughter to conquer her intransigence was hical,


    but he had no alternative and it was the only solution Ortega could think of. Patty and Thalia,


    together with AJ and Vanessa, were probably already at Ortega''s apartment. Samuel and Jessica


    were on their side and were willing to assist them. Indeed, the helicopter wouldnd on Samuel''s


    property, and they would be whisked away by automobile. It would have been ideal if they could


    have stayed on the farm, but there was Alicia, and Samuel was concerned that Alicia may harm the


    children.


    Danie blinked many times and quickly phoned Paloma''s number to double-check. When Paloma


    answered her call, she responded, "Hello Ma?"


    "Oh E, what brought you here? Are you on your way home now? "I already miss my


    grandchildren," Paloma said, and Danie trembled with rage at the sound of her stepmother''s


    voice.


    Danie examined Marcus, and his casual demeanor indicated that he was speaking the truth.


    "Where has AJ gone?" She inquired, her eyes teary. Anger and fury welled up within her, and she


    wished she could w the man''s eyes for stealing her daughter. How did he even aplish that


    feat? "This morning, it wasn''t my stepmother who contacted us; it was one of your cohorts, correct?


    What are you looking for, Marcus? Is it financial? "How much is it?" She spoke incessantly as she


    became concerned for AJ and Vanessa. What would Lilian do if she knew the truth about their


    children''s disappearance?


    He''d had enough of her using him of being a gold-digging thug. He had not felt the need to gloat


    about his money for the previous decade, but now he felt it was vital toe out and inform her of


    his true position. "I am not impoverished, Dani." As he stated.


    Danie arched one of her brows in response to his assertion that he was not impoverished. "I


    couldn''t care less! Simply deliver my daughter to me!" She was incensed that Marcus could be so


    vicious and crafty.


    "AJ and I wille as a bundle, Dani." He stated.


    "You''re insane! Is everything for you a game? My foot, my package!" It was heinous that he would


    be attached to their child, the child he had never wanted in the first ce!


    "No, but I''ve never felt this desperate before." He replied to her inquiry.


    "Is it a matter of sex?" Are you pining for another encounter with me?" There could never have been


    another reason he persisted on being with her. She would never trust him if he imed to love her;


    it would be too unbelievable to believe! Danie rose to her feet, wriggled free of Marcus, and


    began undressing. "Take me now," she pleaded with Marcus to approach and possess her.


    Marcus was incensed that thedy would reduce his intentions for her to nothing more than sex.


    "How are you?" When she began undressing, he shouted and approached her. "Reattach this!" He


    directed and attempted to assist her in reattaching her garment.


    "No! Let us proceed! If it isn''t money, I''m sure it''s sex," she pleaded with the man to ept her offer.


    If she were Marcus, she would chose money over body. She jerked his hand away from her


    garment, tearing the other sleeve in the process, and she gasped in astonishment.


    Danie''s gaze was ferocious, yet Marcus did not tremble. "If you''re going to offer to have sex with


    me in exchange for AJ''s return, you''d better do your best to pique my interest." Marcus stated


    without hinting that the woman was ipetent. It was more of a problem for Danie to refrain


    from saying things that were out of character for her. "Calm down, Dani; do you believe I''m going to


    injure my own daughter?"


    Yes, he was not that type of man, and she had no reason to fear that he would do something


    heinous to AJ or Vanessa. What concerned her was the fact that he was alone in her room. With her


    previous assertiveness, she wasn''t certain Marcus wouldn''t attempt anything amusing with her. It


    was reverse psychology on her part when she persisted on having sex with him, knowing well well


    that the man was incredibly charming and would go to great lengths to entice her. Rather than


    appreciating her aggression, Marcus mocked her abilities to captivate him. Hah! The audacity!


    Marcus considered how impossible women were as Danie stared at him after he declined her


    invitation to have his way with her. If he had forced himself on her, he would have been a bastard,


    but when he refused, she continued firing eyesers at him! "If you''re drowsy, go to bed," he said.


    "How am I to sleep with you still here?" Kindly leave me alone," she said.


    "You should be ustomed to sleeping with me, Dani, since I am not leaving." He informed


    her of his intention to constantly be at her side.


    "What? That is improbable! Lilian and I share this room!" She cried out.


    "Do you mean that if Lilian isn''t there, you''re going to sleep with me?" Marcus made a sarcastic


    remark, and Danie frowned at him.


    "Put an end to your word-bending, Marcus. Leave immediately before my sister returns from her


    stroll outside," she instructed him to leave her alone and out of her sight.


    "I''m sure Ortega will forbid your sister from returning here," Marcus stated.


    "Was Ortega also present?" You''re all in this together, aren''t you? Unbelievable!" Danie was taken


    aback when she discovered Ortega was still on the loose and possibly bothering Lilian as well.


    "How do you intend to proceed?" She inquired after she realized Marcus has the upper hand.


    "By seducing you into loving me again," he imed.
