    “Alpha, Walker and the others have just entered the territory” a patrol guard links me. “Good send them


    to my office.” I send for Thomas and he joins me before they arrive. “As, are you sure these men can


    be trusted?” “How will you even know that James is truly dead except for their word?” “You make a


    good point Thomas but honestly tomorrow it won’t really matter.” “If they betray us they will die just like


    that ba**ard Lincoln and his pack.” A knock sounds on the door and the men walk in being led by


    Walker. “Gentlemen it’s good to see you finally returned.” “Give me a full report Walker.” As soon as


    Walker finishes, I look at the other warriors. Walker goes to speak and I stop him. I walk toward the


    warrior who looks like he is ready to sh*t his pants. “What is your name boy?” He looks at Walker and I

    I turn to Walker who looks worried for the warrior. I grab Jacob by the throat. “Alpha” Walker says, and I


    shoot him a re. “Now do you want to tell me the truth, Walker, or should I snap his neck right here?”


    “He isn’t dead.” “Max killed Elder Brandon before he was killed.” “We were captured and honestly after


    speaking to Amelia we can no longer fight by your side.” Iugh at this pathetic wolf. I drop Jacob and

    do with them.” The little girl starts to cry and I shift not wanting to hear her.


    Michael POV


    As soon as I pull back from the first kiss I’ve ever had, I am ready to make her mine in every way. I


    ce my forehead against hers. “I know you’re afraid of what your brother is capable of but you need


    to understand that you’re not alone anymore.” “You are my mate and this pack is our family.” “I just


    need you to be safe and we have to stop Lucas. “We will I promise.” “Pheobe I don’t want you to feel


    rushed but I want you to know that I am ready to make you mine when you’re ready.” She blushes and I


    expect her to shoot me down immediately. She takes my hand “let’s go get Lily to lift her spell and then


    we can talk more.” I smile that she realized what Lily had done. I start to lead her toward the pack


    hospital. Once we head into Amelia’s room, Lily looks like the cat that swallowed the canary. “Did you


    have a nice walk,” Lily asks her. “So you knew the whole time I was leaving.” “Let’s just say your not a

    Beta Female ceremony.” Before Pheobe can protest, I take her hand leading her out of the room.


    “Michael is he really going to make me a pack member.” I stop and turn to look at her. “You are my


    mate and this pack’s Beta Female.” “I have no idea how to be that.” “Well, it’s good that your mate will


    teach you everything you will need to know.”


    I lead her up to our floor and she looks around. “This is our floor.” “The whole floor is ours.” The
