Arya stared deep into his eyes, she could see the different waves of emotions that passed through them..
She gently touched his hand gripping her jaw and pulled it off..

Kyle creased his brows as if he just recalled something.
“What did you just say?”
“It’s something my mum said to me years ago.. it’s okay if you don’t want me invading your personal space.. I promise I won’t even look towards your direction again”
Arya pushed a fair amount of hair falling on her face behind her ears..
She walked past him and left the study room while Kyle was left in a daze..

Chloe jeered as soon as she saw Arya walked in through the double doors..

She took her seat and stared out of the transparentrge window..
Chloe noticed the sullen expression on Arya’s face and became a bit worried, she guessed it was about Charlotte..
“Arya are you alright?”
Arya sighed and ced both hands under her chin supported by her elbows..
“How can I be alright when Mr grumpy scolds me every single time.. I fail to understand how his mind works”
Chloe was instantly piqued, she took a seat in front of Arya and wriggled her brows..
“Did anything special happen between you both?”
Arya rolled her eyes and tapped Chloe by the side of her head..

“I know.. but do tell me”

Arya squinted her eyes trying to figure where she had seen thedy..
“What are you staring at?”

“Forget that.. I found something in Charlotte’s journal”

Arya looked around and leaned to Chloe “Charlotte and I have the same pendant that my mum made for me.. and also she was seeing someone before she met Kyle”

“Chloe.. we are going to her ex house”
Chloe sat up and stared skeptically at Arya, “We? and do you possibly know who this ex of her’s is?”
Arya opened her purse and brought out the journal.. she ced it on the table..

Chloe shook her head in denial, she loves her friend but she didn’t want to be a part of this..
“Arya I’m sorry but I can’t do this.. I’m sure whoever this Charlotte is, she’s definitely not dumb enough to leave a clue behind and also her personal journal”
“Perhaps it was forgotten in a haste and now someone is trying to get it because it contains a lot.. I feel like she left on her own will” Arya murmured with her eyes fixated in a particr direction..
She noticed thedy was getting ufortable with her stare..
Chloe moved on her seat trying to see what Arya was staring at..
“You know her?”
Arya shook her head and brought out a simr journal from her purse..
“Wait! there’s two of those?”
“Not at all it’s to confirm my suspicion about something”..
Chloe watched Arya keenly to know what she was up to..
“Let’s go search for her ex boyfriend” Arya dered and pulled Chloe up with her..
Chloe gasped when Arya’s prediction came true, the unknowndy walked out hurriedly out of the restaurant with the journal wrapped with her scarf..
Earlier Arya had purposely left the other journal at the restaurant to confirm her suspicion and it turned out to be true..
Thedy got into a car waiting for her and it sped past Arya’s car across the street, she turned to the driver..
“Follow that car” Arya ordered and the car slowly tailed behind thedy’s car..
Chloe whimpered in her seat, things were getting moreplicated and a bit risky..
“Arya this is a bad idea..”

The ck car came to a halt in front of a white mansion..
Arya peered at the building, her mind wasn’t settled at all..
Something was totally off, she rolled up the ss but she sat up once more when she saw a young man walking out of the building..
“Isn’t that Martin?”
Arya lips parted in confusion, she turned to the driver “Is this one of the Anderson’s house?”
“Yes ma’am, the other Anderson’s lives here”
Chloe creased her brow, the other Anderson’s? what was that supposed to mean?
“There are two parts of the family?”
“We need to leave now!” Arya yelled when she saw Martin pointing in the direction of their car..
His guards raised their guns to fire when he saw the car’s te number..
“Stop!”
That was Kyle’s car, but what was it doing here? what was he up to?
Thedy in the car hopped down and handed the journal to Martin..
“She left this behind.. I thought you might need it since it has Charlotte’s name on it”
Martin snatched the journal, he stared at thedy in shock.. “Where did you find this?”
“At Arya’s delight restaurant, I think she left it behind..”
Martin returned his gaze back to the journal, if Arya was with this journal that meant she knows something..
He opened the journal and only the first page had words in it, the words were just random words written in it..
He recalled the car which just left and mmed his fist on the roof of the car..

Kyle’s assistant came in after a few knocks on the door, he handed his boss the phone he just got..
“Boss your new phone has arrived”
Kyle collected the phone and threw it on the desk “Anything else?”
Tim swallowed, he couldn’t count how many times his boss has gotten a new phone in thest three months..
“Boss there’s something else..”
“umm” Kyle hummed while reading and signing the various file piled on his desk..
“Ma’am was spotted at your uncle’s mansion, she seemed to be following a car”
Kyle paused for a while and raised his head “A car?”
Tim nodded “Yes boss.. and she left after a while.. her guards reported this few minutes ago”
Kyle fondled with the pen in between his fingers, he has been a bit suspicious over her actions for thest couple of days..
He noticed that she sneaks out of their bedroom at midnight and returns after a while, he had initially thought that she goes to Ray’s room..
“Inform them to keep a good eye on her, until I can settle the huge matter on hand”
“Yes boss.. umm Mr Wales assistant and a few others are here regarding the contract, they were wondering if you’ve changed your mind”
Kyle rxed back on his seat and sighed “Escort them out of the building immediately and see to it that they are never granted ess in again”
Tim bowed and left the office, after he was gone Kyle picked up his phone and went through it for a while.
He hesitated for a while before he raised the phone to his ear.
It rang for sometime before it was disconnected, his brows crashed together..
“How dare she!”
He tried it again, before it could ring out it was disconnected and then her phone was switched off..
Kyle gritted his teeth in annoyance and tossed his phone aside on the desk..

Chloe threw a light punch to Arya’s arm “Don’t you know you’ve endangered me too? now those people wille after me..
Arya ced a palm over Chloe’s mouth, the driver was still present in the car and ording to her research they report everything about her whereabouts to Kyle..
“If Mr Anderson gets a whiff of this.. I’ll haunt your dreams” Arya warned to see the driver nod..
Chloe was the first to bolt out of the door, she didn’t feel safe anymore..
Arya chuckled at Chloe’s behavior and stepped out of the car.. she crossed to the other side of the road and caught up with Chloe who was about to enter the restaurant..
“Chloe wait up.. I’m sorry okay.. I didn’t know things will turn out that way”
Chloe folded her arm “Do I look mad?”
Arya looked down at her phone and raised it to her ear..
