Chapter 19


    Alissa was being bored as always. Shepleted all her work but there was still plenty of time left to


    do anything else. She got an email from Eric toe to her cabin. She was hoping to get more work,


    at least it was better than sitting idle. She knocked and entered in his cabin. She gave him a small


    smile and stood in front of his table.


    "Miss.Lawrance I just wanted to inform you that there is this one girl who is going to work under me.


    Her cabin is just near to yours. So just show her all the cubicles and her cabin. Tell her what she has to


    do. Okay?" He said and Alissa nodded her head.


    "When will she arrive?" Alissa asked.


    "I''ll email you" Eric said and Alissa left the office.


    She got in her cabin and thought what to do next. She plugged her earphones in herptop and started


    listening music. After 20 minutes she got an email from Eric. She left her cabin and went to Eric''s.


    She entered in his cabin and saw a girl with long brown curly hair, her skin tone was wheatish, her eyes


    were big and ck and her cheekbones were visible and they were perfect. She looked at Alissa and


    gave her a polite smile. Alissa returned the smile and walked towards her.


    "Hi, My name is Eleanor Page" She introduced herself. Her voice was sweet and she said it in


    American ent.


    "Hi, My name is Alissa Lawrence" Alissa said with confidence.


    "Alissa, now you can show her, her cabin and all the other cubicles" Eric said and Alissa took Eleanor


    with her.


    "So you are from America?" Alissa asked and Eleanor replied "I was in Australia then moved to


    America."


    "You are Mr.Eric''s PA right" Eleanor said and Alissa nodded.


    "Okay so here is your cabin and..e inside...Here are your files and all" Alissa told her and then


    Alissa showed her all the other ces.


    "So do you have any boyfriend?" Eleanor asked.


    Alissa fumbled a bit but said no. Eleanor was not a shy or scared girl. She was a spitfire. Because all


    she have told her till now proved that. She don''t hesitate asking something.


    "Do you have a boyfriend?" Alissa asked.


    "Nah...I had one..We broke up" She said it like it was no big deal.


    "W-Why? Like if you don''t mind me asking?" Alissa said with an awkwardugh at the end.


    "Of course not. He always used to go to pubs and I started to feel like he is using me and I am just a


    toy for him. So, one night when he came home drunk...again. I started to yell at him and then I broke up


    with him" She said it casually.


    "Oh!" Alissa eximed


    "Umm...Okay then..I''ll leave you so that you canplete your work. Have a nice day" Alissa said and

    She entered in her cabin and sat on the chair. Thinking, how "Eleanor is so bold and on the other hand

    The day passed and Alissa got up from her chair ready to leave. She exited her cabin and went inside


    the elevator. She reached on the ground floor and exited thepany. She sat in a bus and after few


    minutes she reached her home.


    She went home to find Jade watching television.


    Jade looked up and saw Alissa. She got up and hugged Alissa.


    "There is nothing to eat" Jade said.


    "I''ll just run to the market and get something" Alissa went to her room and changed into the hoodie


    which had a LGBTQ+ sign on it.


    Alissa support LGBTQ and everyone should. She wore a sweatpant and her shoes and went to the


    market. She reached the market and started to look through the things.


    Suddenly she bumped into someone. She quickly started to apologise. When she looked at the person


    it was Eleanor. She looked at her and gave her a big smile.


    "Alissa? What are you doing here?" Eleanor asked with a happy tone.


    "Buying vegetables I guess" Alissa said and Eleanorughed.


    "Where do you live?" Alissa asked.


    "Only one block away" Eleanor said.


    "Oh that''s close"


    "Yeah, and you?"


    "Only two blocks away" Eleanor nodded.


    "Hey can I get your mobile number. Actually, I don''t really know someone here, so?"


    "Of course Eleanor" Alissa said and gave Eleanor her mobile number they both talked for a few


    minutes and suddenly Eleanor said.


    "Do you want to go to the club tomorrow?"


    "Actually, I am not the party type person... sounds boring...I know."

    Alissa''s inner voice said.


    "Hey, c''mon" Eleanor pleaded.


    "Umm... Okay" Alissa said. Eleanor left after few moments and Alissa started to walk back home.


    "Oh! What have you done to me. So many lies. So many secrets I have to keep just because of you"


    Alissa said to herself, as tears stream down her face.
