Chapter 4
Alissa was released from the hospital and she went back to her house. It was a medium sized house.
Sufficient for two people. Alissa got free home teachings. As her parents died when she was 12, so
there was no one who could pay for her education. She lived with her aunt, but she was a huge drinker.
She gave her a monthly ie for cleaning her house and it was only 3 dors. She also have to buy
for her sister and also have to take care of herself with that money. So she mostly spend that money on
her sister. She saved money hard for her sister''s education. Her aunt after some time left Alissa and
Jade and went to Spain.
Yeah, her aunt was rich but was too cruel to spend some money on them. Alissa took care of her sister.
She worked in a bakery, in a wine shop even. She also sold popcorn on the streets. As they grew up,
they understood it very well that life is not easy. Alissa was in the kitchen cooking food for her sister
and for herself.
She served the food in two tes. They both sat on the dinning chair and started to eat their food in
silence. But Alissa broke that silence by saying "Listen, it''s 2:12 pm right. I have to go back to the
restaurant as I haven''t gave any leave application so my boss will be angry right now. So I will leave
after eating. Okay"
Jade nodded and Alissa quickly ate her food and left for her work. She was a waitress in a restaurant
which was not very far from her house. She stepped inside, prepared to get a scolding from her boss.
She knocked on the office door of her boss.
"Come in" He said in a harsh voice.
"Hello sir, Actu-" Alissa started speaking but was cut off by her boss.
"Shut up. I know you were with some boys right. You are such a dirty girl" Her boss Jim said.
Alissa''s eyes widened. She is not that kind of a girl that she will have fun with boyste at night. It was

"You have no right to say that for me. I was being harassed. For god''s sake" Alissa shouted maybe first
time she has ever shouted and took stand for herself.
Jim let out augh and said "You know what. You are fired" he said.
Alissa felt like someone has punched her on her chest. But she didn''t let him notice that. She smirked,
a fake smirk and said "Who are you to fire me. I quit this job. You jerk" she stomped her foot and left.
She went back to her home and straight into her room. She threw herself on the bed and let out all the
tears which were begging toe out.
For her, life was so difficult, but still she haven''t given up, just for the sake of her sister.
She knew a boy named Joel who used to rmend her for different jobs. He always helped her in
finding jobs. She decided, now he is the one who could help her in finding a job. She quickly got up
from her bed, and saw that Jade was sleeping peacefully on the couch. She went outside of the house
and straight where Joel will be.

"Joel I really need a job. Please help me" Alissa literally begged.
"Okay...then" He started to do something in hisptop.
"Okay Lawrence, here is a job of spa. Sry is 26.68 dors per hour" Alissa''s eyes almost popped
out.
"But there is a problem. I don''t know anything about spa" She was little embarrassed by saying this.
"Okay then...OMG...Williams Enterprises, they want a secretary for Eric Williams, CEO of thepany.
$2,890 per month" Joel said enthusiastically.
"What?!? It is perfect. But when is the interview. Tell me more" Alissa said.
"Umm... tomorrow you can go for the interview. It will start from 8:00 am to 11:45 am" Alissa nodded,
giving her full attention.
"I will fill your information in this. Okay" He said and she again nodded.
After a little while, collecting more information, she went home. Just praying that she will get the job,
and maybe her life will againe in the correct track.
