Chapter 31 Waiting to See the Show
It was obviously a warm June day, but therge bedroom made people feel chilly to the bone.
Ben looked at her. His cold gaze was charming.
He slowly raised his hand, pulled off his tie, and threw it on the couch. Then he slowly stepped towards

Looking at her calm face, Ben somehow furrowed his brows, turned around, and said coldly, “Get out!”
udia sighed slightly and then headed out of the bedroom. Her footsteps became heavy, as if her
heart also sank.
Early the next morning, Ben changed his clothes. He was buttoning his shirt cufflinks as he walked
outside. As he passed the study, he looked over the half-open door and stopped in his tracks.
On the desk inside the room, udia was sleeping on her stomach while theputer next to her was
still on.
She looked like she had been here all night.
Ben stepped inside. He woke udia as he browsed through the files.
She rubbed her eyes in panic, looked at the time, and hurriedly got up to check Conrad, but Ben held
her wrist in a sh.
His deep eyes nced at the webpage on theputer screen, and he narrowed his eyes, “Why are
you looking into this?”
udia looked at the webpage and was stunned.
The webpage showed the exnation and treatment of “STD”, and small windows of advertisements
for specialist consultation kept popping up.
“Why are you looking into this?”
Ben''s deep eyes were gloomy. He was fine and healthy, so why was she looking up all this?
He looked like he was offended by the words that made a man most intolerable. He was also
overreacting a bit. udia lowered her gaze in embarrassment and thought for a moment before
reaching for her phone and typing in a few words, but she typed those words over and over again. And
she didn''t know where to start.
If udia told him the truth, it would seem like she was ndering Hanna behind her back, which was

She nodded. The conversation she had heard in the party bathroom reverberated in her mind. She felt
inwardly puzzled and wondered if Amber could get that disease...
On the other side of town, in a private room of a luxurious women''s spa, Amber was lying on her back
and enjoying a Thai back massage by a masseuse.
The two young women lying beside her were Amber''s besties.
“Amber, you''re amazing. Your trick this time works really great! You''re killing two birds with one stone !”
One of the young women said.
Amber cocked her head, her red lips looking bright, “Of course! Who would have thought that trick or
two would let Hanna and udia fall into a trap?”
With these two women out of her way, Ben would be hers alone. And she wanted to see who would
dare get in the way!
Seeming to think of something, the corner of Amber''s mouth lifted into a sneer, “Wait and see! The
good show is still yet toe. Without anyone to make a move this time, Ben won''t even want that little
mute anymore!”
“Are you really so sure?” One of her friends asked.
Amber smiled coldly, “Of course! I''m absolutely sure. Not only this little mute but also that Hanna will be
over!”
Amber was so sure of this n and had great confidence about it.
“Well, then we''ll be waiting to see the show!”
After several women looked at each other, they worked out a scheme in the room.
In the Crawford mansion, since udia was pregnant, she had to undergo regr medical checkups
every month, an order given by Winifred.
And now in order to take care of her baby, udia did not refuse to keep doing so.
In the afternoon, the doctor examined her as usual. After the doctor left, udia took Conrad for a walk
in the park.
Ben had just finished a board meeting at thepany. As soon as he returned to his office, Nate came
in and said, “Mr. Crawford, Dr. Lincoln said he had emailed Mrs. Crawford''s medical report to you and
reminded you to check your email.”
“Alright!”
After hearing that one cold word, Nate consciously turned around and left.
Ben sat down and clicked on theputer.
Looking at the medical examination report that had just been emailed to him, he only took a nce at
it, and then his eyes darkened.
Then, he raised his hand to dial a number on the phone, “Nate, call the head of the Central Hospital
and ask him to pull up Hanna''s medical records of the past two days in that hospital, and then send
them to me ASAP.”
