    “Yeah it should, let’s do that immediately then”


    Jarod was eager to get on with it and make sure (baby daddy) met the full wrath of thew, but I had reservations. I wasn’t so sure this was how I wanted to solve the problem or this was what I wanted to do to (my baby daddy). I wasn’t even sure I wanted to do anything anymore, the confusion still lingered.


    Later that morning, (baby daddy) came into the shop with his usual mischievous smirk on his caramel face. But this time he wasn’t here to ask me out for lunch… At least that was what I thought “A beautiful morning to you Lily!”

    “How dare you? You jerk” I became pricked by his audacity and almost lost it.


    “I am here now aren’t I? Now that’s what truly matters”


    “I don’t care, the answer still remains a no for him too”


    “Look Lily, rx, I didn’te here for all this. The truth is I actually came here to ask you for a favor, I need some money and I’m absolutely going to pay you back”


    I thought I had seen it all from him before then this, was he really trying to take money from me? “I don’t think I can borrow you any many (baby daddy)”


    “Hey this is really urgent and I wouldn’t be asking you if I had it. My bank ount is having minor issues but once it’s sorted out, I’ll pay you back in full and maybe even extra”


    I hesitated a little and then I yielded “how much do you need?” I ask with an emotionless face

    “What are you, a thief? Where do you expect me to get that kind of money from, do you think I have a that kind of money justying around?”

    “Not even a thousand?” He asked in a bid to persuade me.

    “Better” I punched a button on the money machine and a lowered cab opened up.

    “Thank you so much you won’t regret it, I promise I’ll pay you back” we both knew that was an empty promise and that he wasn’t going to pay me back but I wanted him to leave so desperately and I was willing to do anything to ensure that including giving him the money I was meant to use to restock from of the things in the store.


    “So Lily, are you absolutely sure you won’t have at least a drink with me?” He attempts in a finally bid to win me over but I refuse


    “Don’t push your luck please, just leave”


    “Alright, I guess I’ll be seeing you soon”


    “I strongly doubt that, now leave”


    It was just a few minutes past 7pm and I strolled from my bed to my room window to get a little fresh air and enjoy the splendor of the evening. I scanned around the neighborhood I saw spotted him “of course it’s the redhead”


    (baby daddy) was obviously making sexual advances to ady just a few buildings away from where I stayed and I immediately got irritated. I left my room and headed for the living room to watch some TV when after about 30 minutes of my disgusted sight, I heard a knock on the door.     “Can’t I just pay a random visit?” He asked with a prickly look on his face.


    “No you can’t” I repositioned myself to cover the door way, barely leaving the door open


    “Well believe it or not but I actually came to see your Granny”


    “And why would you want to do that?”


    “I brought flowers for her, since the first time I tried getting some fire you didn’t turn out fine”


    As luck would have it, Granny had just stepped into the living room area and replied (baby daddy)’s advances before I could say anymore and saved me the stress. “Sorry dear but I don’t like flowers either, you can take those back to wherever you got them from”


    “But I…” I shut him down before he could say anything.


    “You heard her, you can take your leave now thank you”


    “Look I know she probably didn’t mean what she said, can you take the flowers and give it to her for me?” His face became sore after Granny’s rejection.


    “I’m sorry but I will do no such thing, so bye!” I shot the door at his face and for a while I could hear that he had not walked away and still stood there probably contemting why Granny rejected his flowers.
