    I was still trailing behind him without him knowing, when I got a call from the PI agent that I employed to get dirt on the baby daddy.


    The PI agent told me that he already found out that the baby daddy in question wasn’t only a failure, he was a drug dealer, trafficker and he abuses drugs too.


    I knew that the baby daddy was bad, but I didn’t know that he was that bad.


    I was in awe when the PI agent continued telling me about how he was running away from the government and the police too. He was in big trouble as he’s a hardened criminal.


    A Shiver went down my spine when I remembered that Lily was oblivious to these facts. I was also Informed that he was really broke and he couldn’t even afford anything by himself. Coupled with that, he also had a wife and kids in Mexico.


    I put the phone down because I was really shocked about everything and I just couldn’t continue listening to what he was saying.


    When I put the phone down, I decided to stop following him. I would need more than a confrontation to stop him from following Lily.


    I went to my house instantly and I started thinking about what to do. I really have to do something. Fast.


    Lily’s POV


    After Cayden and my baby daddy left, I was left with my thoughts. Something was definitely wrong between those two, but I had no time to even ponder over it and I went back to work.


    When it was finally time for lunch, I removed my apron and I left the counter. I was about to go out when I also saw Jaroding in. I was a little bit shocked to see him because he hadn’te to the shop in a while.


    “Hey, Lily. How are you?” He said enthusiastically when we went back inside the shop. I smiled back at him and I returned his greetings.


    I kept on wondering why he was in the shop, but I didn’t just want to ask him so I wouldn’t be seen as rude. After all, I’m not the only one in the shop and I’m sure anybody cane in too.


    He was being friendly to me, too friendly even and u just knew that he was trying to make amends for what he did. I decided that two can y the game and I acted oblivious to his friendly acts.


    “Do you need something?” I asked him after minutes of speaking with him. I wanted him to leave because I needed my lunchtime.


    He hesitated for a while before he answered me. I could see that he didn’t even n on getting anything with the way he was stuttering when he was making his order.


    Cayden’s POV


    Before I knew it, it was already evening and I just knew that Lily would have left the shop, so I decided to call her and inform her about the new discovery that I just made.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g


    After thinking about everything, I was finally feeling a little bit relieved because I know that sooner orter, I’m going to get her baby daddy arrested.


    I dialled her number and I waited for her to answer.


    She answered after the second ring.


    “Hey, Lily.” I said when she picked the phone.


    She answered a few secondster and I wasn’t satisfied with the way her voice sounded over the phone.


    “Can youe to the bar? Where we usually get drinks.” I decided to ask her and she reluctantly said yes. I asked her if she was okay and she said that she was with the most convincing voice I’ve ever heard.


    I tried talking to her again and when she gave me another cold reply, I just knew that something was definitely wrong with her.


    So, I decided to go and see her, to see what’s really wrong.


    I just hope it isn’t because of that fucker because if it is..

    When I got to her house minutester, I was not surprised at all to find her baby daddy sitting there. I scoffed when I saw him and I closed the door after I got in.


    I could see that Lily wasn’t happy to see me, but I knew that by the time I was done with telling her all about the criminal she was with, she would definitely thank me so much.


    “Lily. I have something to tell you, something I’ve been trying to tell you for a while. This devil right here..” I pointed to him before I continued. “Isn’t who he says he is at all. Do you know that he has been abusi-”


    I didn’t have Lily’s attention anymore. Her baby daddy was showing her some pictures on his phone and I tried calling lily again, but he wasn’t listening to me again.


    “This woman right here is Cayden’s wife. ” The baby daddy said and I went over to see the person that he was calling my wife.


    When I saw the woman, I recognized her as one of my old time flings. I’ve had sex with her, but that was a long time ago. I wondered why he was bringing it up in front of Lily.


    “Why do you have these pictures? Tell me, you criminal.” I said to him and he feigned a look of fear. He’s so pathetic.


    “You have to tell me why you’ve been bothering Lily, when you already have a wife, Mr Cayden.” He said and he crossed his hands against his chest out of pride. I was feeling like punching his face, but I just held myself. I didn’t want to create a bad impression of myself in front of Lily because I could see that she was already getting frustrated.


    “What the heck are you saying? You’re lying.” I said and he met out a chuckle before bringing his phone out again. He brought out some random pictures that showed that I had a wife and I was expecting a child.


    I suddenly got angry and he asked him to bring proper proof that shows that the woman in the picture is my wife, or I’d throw him out of the house. I was really thankful that Jacek and granny weren’t in because of the way that I was shouting.


    The man brings out lots of pregnancy tests and my recordings with the woman in question and I told Lily that if I was really expecting a child and married, then why would I still chase her?
