    “Yes, Mom. Let’s start with her.” Liara responded. “Just like Calvin, she loves teasing others, and now Ethlyn is her new target.” She pointed out.


    “I agree. She is trying to target Ethlyn because she is the youngest among all.” Caroline spoke. “Why don’t you tell us why you were carrying concentration pills with you when you’re officially signaled?” She questioned with a yful smile.


    “Oh! Please! Don’t give me that look. I’m indeed single. And I bought those pills months back.” Tiara said, rolling her eyes. “And you all know that I was with Wylder before he left.”


    Ethlyn observed how frank everyone was with their sister or mother. She never shared this bond with her mother. Tiara lost her virginity to someone else before her marriage was not a big deal for Sophia.


    “Wylder!! Damn, I miss him.” Caroline spoke with fondness. “I wonder where he is now? Mom, do you know anything about him?” She asked.


    “Nope.”


    “Who? Who is Wylder?” Ethlyn asked curiously.


    “I don’t know if Calvin ever mentioned you or not, but Calvin and Colton were raised by two more mothers other than me, Eden and Arya, my best friends,” Sophia exined from the beginning. Ethlyn nodded her head because she had heard these names from Calvin’s mouth. “For years, they treated Calvin and Colton as their own pup, butter they decided to adopt a pup, whom they could give their own name. So, Wylder is basically their adopted son.”


    “Oh, why did Caroline mention that ‘I wonder where he is now?’?” Ethlyn questioned next.


    “That’s because he left. I don’t know where but he left when he fell in love with my ambitious daughter again, but she didn’t fall in love with him again.” Sophia replied.


    “I’m an actress, Mom. A lot of people love me. I can’t marry everyone. Moreover, love can’t be a force.” Tiara said, shrugging her shoulder. “For me, my career is my second love after you all. I don’t understand why you all have so much issue with me choosing my career over mate or love?” She asked in irritation.


    Ethlyn felt that the conversation started getting into a heated argument than a funny one, she chose to speak. “Thest night was amazing.”


    “What?” Tiara looked at her in confusion.


    “Thest night with your brother was amazing.” She replied. She never thought that she would be discussing this with everyone. “He is just not good but a wild beast. I felt like I won’t be able to walk in the morning.”


    “It means he was fast, rough, and hard?” Caroline questioned on which Ethlyn’s eyes widened at first, but eventually, she nodded her head. After that, Caroline started sharing her experience.


    Sophia smiled, looking at them. She didn’t miss how smartly Ethlyn changed Tiara’s mind. She knew all her kids were different from one another, just like the fingers of her hand. And at the same time, she just couldn’t agree with all the decisions that her children made for their life.


    ‘God, I don’t know what the future has held for my children. But I really hope Calvin settles with Ethlyn. She is a lovely child.’ She mentally thought and heard the doorbell. She signaled the kids to keep gossiping and stood on her feet to open the door.


    “Hey!!” Bruce Collin, Zordan’s father, hugged Sophia the moment she opened the door.


    “Hi, Henry!!” Sophia broke the hug with him and then hugged his mate. At first, she used to get jealous of Bruce and Sophia’s friendship but eventually, she learned to handle it just like Brandon learned to control his jealousy by seeing Bruce and Sophiaughing and chatting together.


    “You’re a carbon copy of your sister,” Sophiamented, pinching Reva’s cheek.

    “Come in!!” Sophia invited them inside that was when Reva spoke


    “Actually, Aunt Sophia, My… I mean, our grandparents were leaving the pack. So, they wanted to spend some time with Ethlyn before leaving. So, can I take her for a while?”


    “Why don’t you call them here?” Sophia offered.


    “At Alpha’s penthouse?” Reva asked with little hesitation.


    “Yes!! And don’t worry about Calvin.”


    “Okay!!” Reva had barely taken a breath after inviting her grandparents when Calvin’s mind linked angrily, ordering her to receive Ethlyn’s phone and keep the phone on speaker. She thought that he would give an earful lecture to her sister and all her family members foring to his ce without his permission, but the floor escaped under her feet when her family, all the females of the Haysbert family, and Zordan’s mom heard Abigail’s confession.


    All eyes were on Ethlyn, who was numb, not reacting anything after hearing this.


    “Excuse me!!” She muttered and started leaving when she felt Reva felt following her. “I want to be alone, Reva.”

    Zordan joked, on which Calvin narrowed his eyes, and that was when his eyesnded on all the pups who were ying. “I wish I would have spoiled everyone’s mood for real, Zordy, but I failed. I can’t sense Ethlyn’s pain.” He said in a worried tone.


    “It’s better than, isn’t it?” Zordan asked.
