The realm of stories wasn’t supposed to be real, after all.?rna hated home. She couldn’t be herself there, so she went somewhere her family wouldn’t dare follow her. Free at last, she gathers herbs to study and make medicine with help from the land-spirits—except they seem to avoid her. After finally finding someone to help her, she was reminded of a painful reality: she isn’t welcome there.Despite being born to a world bent on keeping them apart, something—or someone—brought them together.
