The door of the hospital ward opened up again and someone else walked in, Rex.


    Hazel still continued to struggle against Axel, trying to push him away. With the presence of Rex in the room, Axel reluctantly pulled away from the hug and stood up to his brother.

    “No one loves me truly. Not you, not Axel, not rissa, no one in this pack loves me” she added, keeping her tears in check as she spoke.


    “You know I do” the two brothers said at the same time.


    “Get out!!!” Hazel screamed at the both of them.


    Rex sighed and dropped the bouquet of flowers that he had brought along with him. He walked away with his head slightly bowed down.


    “Yesterday was really a big mistake. I admit that it is my fault and I also know that it would be hard for you to forgive me but I am willing to wait until when you will be ready to” Axel said to her.


    Hazelid on the bed, turning her back against him.


    She heard his footsteps as he exited the ward.

    The next day


    “I am really sorry, Axel. I… I was out of my mind. I will correct things. I will let Hazel know that it was never your fault” rissa apologized.


    She was on her knees as she spoke in front of Axel.


    “And what does your apology change?”


    “It… It changes nothing. I was stupid, I know. I was just taken over by lust and I could not control myself. I am sorry. I will go meet Hazel and exin things to her. ”


    Axel got up from his seat and walked a few steps away.

    Axel said no more and walked up the stairs, to his room.


    rissa sighed as she dropped to her butt. Even though Axel had told her that he was going to take the me, rissa could not let that happen.


    She was feeling too guilty and she could only get rid of a little bit of that self guilt if she came out true to Hazel and let Hazel know how things had really happened.


    She got up from the floor, picked up her bag and walked out of the house, heading to Hazel’s home.

    Hazel was in her living room, watching aedy show on the television. She was trying to get rid of the sadness in her heart byughing it out but it seemed not to be working as her face still maintained the sad look.


    She lowered her gaze to the floor and her body moved with a heavy sigh.


    Just then, her phone beeped with a message. She picked it up with little interest and saw that the message was from Axel. She hissed and dropped the phone.


    A few seconds passed and she picked the phone back. She could not resist opening his message.


    “How are you doing now? I will being over soon”


    “Do note over. I hate you. If you trying over, you are only going to meet my corpse” she sent the message back to him and turned off her phone.


    Minutes passed before she heard her door click open. She shot up from the sofa, wondering who it could be. Her mind immediately went to Axel but whoever it could be, she did not want to see anyone.


    “Hazel” it was the voice that broke her the most, rissa.


    “Hazel” she called again.


    “What are you doing here? Are you here to mock me? Laugh at me for believing that you truly wanted I and Axel together?” Hazel asked.


    “I am not here to do that. I am here to…”


    “Whatever you are here to do, you should leave. I do not want to hear anything from you or even see you” she turned to leave.


    “I used a potion on Axel that night!” rissa revealed and Hazel halted in her steps.


    She slowly turned towards her.


    “What did you say?” Her words were out slowly.


    “I…. I used a potion on Axel that night.” rissa reached for her bag and brought out a bottle.


    “I know Axel probably told you some lies so you don’t have to hate me too much but….”

    Hazel went silent for a long while before speaking up.


    Different thoughts ran through Hazel’s mind before she concluded that there was no reason to believe what rissa was saying.


    For all she knew, this could be just another plot by rissa and Axel to fool her once more and make her believe that Axel was in love with only her.


    “I do not believe you! That thing you are holding in your hands could be anything. It might not be a potion! Why should I believe that it is a potion?”


    “Tell me, did Axel ask you toe over here and say this? What exactly do the both of you want from me?” She groaned.


    “He… He did not ask me toe over here to do this. Hazel, I am telling you the truth so that….”
