Old Grayson’s eyes snapped open when he heard footsteps approaching his room…


    His eyes widened when he saw his grandson standing next to his bed..


    “Long time no see grandfather!” Liam murmured, he walked next to the bed and touched old Grayson’s legs.


    “I bet if I stab your legs a thousand time, you won’t feel any pain”


    “W.. what… are.. you doing in here?!” He panicked looking for anything in sight to grab for defense.


    He knew Liam was here to harm him or make him suffer…


    “Don’t feel scared grand father… I’m not here to harm you okay?” Liam said in a calm voice which made old Grayson even more anxious and scared…


    Liam rose to his feet with a sinister smile on his lips “I came here to have a word with you”


    Old Grayson tried to reach for his bedside button but Liam beat him to it..


    “Save your energy forter…. no one will being forth even though you hit the button a million times!”


    Liam pulled out his phone from his pocket and showed a clip to his grandfather….


    “This was a shocker to me too grandfather… I never knew you dealt in drugs and arms & ammunition, this was recovered by the government earlier today… do you know your punishment?”


    Liam smiled in satisfaction seeing the tense look on old Grayson’s face. He yed another clip and presented in front of old Grayson.


    “As you can see… your best friend is there too.. the ex mayor, you both embezzled public funds for your selfish interest… the court will definitely give you a life sentence… or wait a minute!”


    Liam brought out a white colored envelope from his inner pocket and opened it…


    “This contains all the evidence against you about how you brutally murdered your wife in cold blood and for attempted murder ofdy Brianna Grayson….e on grandfather you will definitely get a death sentence”


    Old Grayson’s breathing became unstable, he gasped in and out for air..


    Liam’s eyes turned bloodshot “Your evil ways are over grand father…”


    Liam murmured to see old Grayson close his eyes and remained still….

    She gawked at the expensive car and the ones tailing behind it and frowned.


    She knew one man who could be bold enough to stop her movement..


    And she was right, she watched a guard run out and opened the back seat door.


    Amelia took in a deep breath beforeing out of her car, she stood akimbo ring at him while he walked slowly to her.


    “Take your car off the road! just because you are wealthy doesn’t mean you can turn the road to yourfort zone!” Ameliashed out angrily.


    Liam ced both hands in his pocket as he stood before her. “I was about to say the same thing to you too”


    Amelia arched a brow, thest thing she wanted to do was to speak to him.


    “Listen to me Mr Arrogant….


    She cleared her throat “I meant Liam Grayson take your car off the road I’m runningte for a meeting!”


    “Why did you stop yourself? go on! call me what you feel isfortable with you.. I’ve been yearning to hear you call me that for years”


    Amelia furrowed her brows, what was he talking about? yearning to hear her voice?


    “Don’t bring our past here! the past is the past! learn to move on!”


    Liam closed the gap between them and wrapped his hands around her waist giving her no space for a fit..


    “You’ve managed to move on but I’m still stuck in the past.. our past.. i realized that I was wrong.. I misjudged your character”


    Amelia wriggled trying to get out of his grip but he wasn’t willing to let go..


    “Let go of me Liam… I’m someone’s wife.. you have no right to touch me”


    Liam ced a palm over her mouth “You are no one’s wife! I’ve punished those who messed with us.. now we can start our lives afresh”


    Amelia pushed his chest and stepped out of his grip..


    “You must be mistaken Liam Grayson! I should leave my husband and son to be with you? that is never possible… I love my new family and I don’t want it to end like the old one.. so I’m suggesting you stay far away from me!”


    Liam grabbed her wrist and yanked her back in his arms..


    “You and I know who Aidan’s real father is! do you n on keeping him away from me as well?”


    Amelia quivered under his scrutinizing gaze “You want to know who Aidan’s father is? then I will show you!”


    She pulled away from him and walked back to the car and came back with a white envelope.


    She grabbed his palm and ced the envelope harshly on it. “Because of your ims I did a DNA test to show you who Aidan’s real father is… now it’s in your hands!”


    Liam stared down at the envelope and tore it open, he pulled out the white sheet and scanned it for a while with creased brows.


    “This is not true Amelia!…. I know you well enough.. you can’t possibly do this!”


    Amelia smirked “you know me well? but you couldn’t trust me all those years ago, I’m sure you know the truth now, stay far away from my son and I.. you are not weed anywhere near us!”


    She mumbled irritably and walked back to her car, she reversed back to follow another route.


    Liam crushed the paper in his hands, he stared at the back of her moving car and yelled out in frustration.


    “This is a lie!!”

    Steven and James sighed as they stared at Liam’s downcast expression, after learning about his ordeal with Amelia, they felt bad.


    “Listen man…. Amelia is definitely angry with you, infact anyone in her ce is bound to be mad.. all you need to do is to give her time” James said with a sigh.


    Liam raised a brow at the two, since when do they start behaving mature?


    “She has a son with that Jason guy… it will be really hard for you to win her back Liam, she is already married to him” Steven added


    Liam tugged his neck tie in frustration, he didn’t know what to believe anymore.. his mind was clouded..


    How could he have doubted her that way? when he knows fully well that their enemies were looking for ways toe in between them.


    Steven’s brows drew together in surprise as he stared at his phone..


    “Guys.. this just came in.. the mayor has resigned from his post and he is currently bankrupt”


    James frowned “That doesn’t make sense… unless someone conspired against him” James said in betweenughs.


    His face suddenly turned serious, he exchanged brief gazes with Steven and then to Liam.


    Liam raised a brow seeing them stare at him in suspicion…


    He shrugged and threw his head backwards “He deserved it… I’m still waiting for one more news though” Liammented nonchntly ignoring the surprised looks of his friends.


    The mayor and his family messed with him big time.. and he has punished them ordingly, the other news he was waiting for now, was that of his grand father…..
