Dn stared down as he walked towards her bed, he pulled out a stool and sat next to the bed.


    “Lou… I want to ask you a few questions”


    Louisa tilted her head to the side to take a proper look at his face.


    “There’s no need to show me your fake sympathy Dn… don’t worry you will have an assistant by your side at the meeting today”


    Dn released a breath, he didn’t realize all these while that he was driving Louisa away from him by acting cold towards her.


    “Do you really see me as that kind of person?”


    Louisa shot him a look “Yes I do…. honestly I hold you responsible for my condition, how can you be so heartless to leave me all alone at thepany and no!…. don’t say that it was a mistake”


    Dn held her wrist and brought it to his face “If you think that I’m responsible…. then I give you every permission and rights to hit me as hard as you can”


    Louisa pulled her hand away from his, even if she wanted to hit him, her bat was at home if not she would have murdered him right here.


    “Can you remember anything the joker did to you?”


    Louisa shook her head andid back down on the bed, she has had enough of this discussion.


    “Please leave”


    The nurse present in the room smirked at the two ‘No matter how hard any of you think about it no one will be able to find out what really happened or what is about to happen’ she thought inwardly and left the ward. Immediately she came out of the ward, she answered her phone call.


    “Yeah I did as you instructed! when will I get my payment?”

    Amelia sighed and rolled her eyes as her mum examined her, actually she held Liam responsible for this, if he hadn’t snitched about it her mum won’t have been so worried.


    “Mum how many times will I tell you that there’s nothing wrong with me?” Amelia whined.


    “Liam how could you let this happen?” Brianna asked.


    Liam raised a brow “Me? I warned her not to.. but as always she wanted to be a heroine like in her movies” Liam mumbled with a bit of sarcasm in his tone.


    “And you could have been the hero to stop me but what were you doing?” Amelia fired back.


    “Are you trying to me me? mum did you see that?”


    Brianna and Cecile exchanged looks and shrugged.


    “Big sis!!”


    Amelia diverted her attention to the little girl who called out her name.


    Chloe withdrew her hand from the maids grip and bolted to Amelia, she was putting on a pink sportswear and a white sneaker.


    “My sweetie is very pretty”


    Chloe giggled and presented two hair bands in front of Amelia.


    “Can you help me decide if I should go with the pink or the white” Chloe asked.


    Amelia tapped her chin staring at the two hair bands carefully. “You know I heard that cute girls look more cuter when they wear pink”


    Chloe nodded and shot the maid a look “See? I told you” she jested and stuck out her tongue.


    The maid smiled in embarrassment, Liam snorted in denial.


    “I think the white is better”


    Chloe gasped, he was interested in matters concerning her.


    Amelia raised a brow at him, was he trying to challenge her?


    “No… pink suites her better” Amelia argued.


    “No it doesn’t… it only makes her look like a witch”


    Cecile leaned forward to Brianna “Why do they argue about everything?”


    Brianna sighed and touched her head, if they keep on going on and on like this she would go deaf.

    “Can’t you both just decide on a color? all my friends must be in school by now”


    Amelia sighed and crotched down to Chloe’s height. “Honey why don’t you decide which color you want but remember the color pink is for cute looking girls like you but the yucky colour white is for weird girls”


    Chloe fell into a deep thought, she walked towards the maid and handed her the two bands.”I will wear both instead”


    “Look how matured she is… unlike some people” Cecile scorned..

    ra entered Louisa’s ward, her gazended briefly on Louisa’s sleeping face.


    She walked next to the bed and helped herself to sit there.


    “Louisa… I know that you are awake” ra spoke softly, pushing behind the loose strands of hair resting on Louisa’s face.


    Louisa opened her eyes and when she saw who was in the ward, she cursed beneath her breathe..


    She had expected Amelia or just anyone else apart from ra and Dn. How was she supposed to recover if she kept on seeing them instead??


    Louisa sat up and shook off ra’s hand that was caressing her hair.


    “Are you here to criticize me? if yes, then you can go ahead” Louisa said in irritation.


    ra smiled and ced her purse on herps, she pulled her fingers for a while mustering the courage to speak up again.


    “I know you don’t hate me…. ”


    Louisa peered at thedy sitting next to her, infact hate was an understatement.


    “Are you kidding me??” Louisa murmured.


    “I know where I’m driving at Louisa… the only reason you are showing me this attitude is because of dn, I know you must have felt bad when he broke off his engagement to you…..


    Louisa raised a brow, was thisdy trying to rub salt on her wounds? it’s already clear that she and Dn will be married soon, so why reminding her of that?


    “There’s no need to remind me of all these ra, I know where exactly this is going but please spare me the horror” Louisa pleaded, she was already getting annoyed by her presence.


    ra shot Louisa a look to keep her mouth shut “at least listen to what I have to say Louisa! Dn and I are not really engaged”


    Louisa’s lips parted in shock and surprise before it got reced with a mockingughter.


    “Is that really the case? or did he dump you like he did to otherdies?” Louisa scorned with a smile.


    “Dn didn’t dump me infact we were never a thing, we only put up this charade to get back the ones we love….. I got back together with Karl but Dn didn’t get his own lover”


    “And why are you telling me all these? I’m definitely not interested”


    ra picked up her purse and stood up, Louisa might see her as a calmdy which she definitely isn’t.


    “Okay! I tried being nice with my approach, but you don’t seem to get what is really going on here! Dn isn’t the one responsible for your problems, infact he is doing everything he can to please you and you are busy weighing him down with your attitude!”


    Louisa’s lips parted, she released a soft gasp escaped her lips, she stared at ra in shock, was it her imagination or did ra just look super angry at her?


    ra sighed and sat back down, she touched Louisa’s shoulder. “Dn is madly in love with you and I’m still in shock on how you can’t see that, he left the city just so that he could kill his feelings for you…”


    “I watched him living his life like it had no meaning anymore, you see him as a yboy and a spoilt brat but he has changed and that’s because he knows how much you hate that lifestyle…. Louisa he changed his ways just for you”


    ra stood up once more and leaned forward to her “The least you could do is to acknowledge him and try to see him with a different view…” She whispered and left the ward.
