Dn arrived at thepany when he got into the building he was surprised by the little crowd of his employees who were lingering around the elevator.


    “What is going on?”


    Immediately they heard his voice they parted ways for him with their heads bowed.


    Dn felt the air around him seized when he saw Louisa unconscious, he also noticed this was the same outfit she was putting on yesterday.


    Before anyone could blink their eye lids, he rushed to her side and tapped her cheeks gently. “Lou…. open your eyes… what are you morons waiting for? call the ambnce!!” heshed out angrily at them..

    Olivia and her parents arrived at the hospital where Louisa was admitted into. They spotted Dn pacing around mumbling words to himself.


    “Dn” Jenna called out pointing at Louisa’s ward “What happened to Louisa?”


    Dn hissed in anger, how was he supposed to answer that question? the doctor has even refused to speak to him concerning her current condition.


    “I have no idea mum…..”


    Olivia’s jaw clenched in anger, she knew who was responsible for Louisa’s condition. “Mum…. dad I will be back!”


    “Olivia where are you off to?” Jerry called out which she ignored.


    Liam’s car stopped in front of the hospital, he and Amelia hurriedly got out.


    He threw the car keys at his guard “Park the car well” he ordered.


    Olivia crashed into Amelia on her way out, she quickly apologized only to be pulled back by Amelia.


    “It’s you… I’m so sorry I was in such a hurry” Olivia apologized.


    “How is Louisa? is she alright?”


    Olivia nodded in response, she needed to get to Luciana before she flees the city.


    “Yeah the doctor is checking up on her…. but I have to leave now bye!”


    Amelia’s mood was lifted up a bit, at least her friend was alright. Liam ced his hands on her back pushing her forward.


    “I told you that she will be alright” Liam mumbled..

    Jane kicked the te of food that was sent to her away in anger. How clever of Liam to pull her out of the asylum before the mayor got to her.


    Now he brought her to his own home which was way worse than the asylum itself.


    She nced briefly at Angie who was still under the drugs effect, they were injected before they were brought here.


    Jane picked the cup of water meant for her and threw it at her face. “you sly b*tch! are you still sleeping?”


    Angie’s eyelids fluttered open, she took notice of the change in her surroundings.


    She shot Jane a look after she realized what Jane did. “Have you lost it?!” Angie barked.


    Jane rolled her eyes and snarled at her “Don’t show me that attitude! you and your son are the reason that I’m here today…. and old Grayson? after all the promises he made he still couldn’t fulfill any of the task”


    Angie wiped her face with the hem of her dress “You were blinded by jealousy which led you to your downfall so don’t you dare me my prince and I for your misfortune!”


    Jane bursted outughing, she crotched downughing endlessly at Angie.


    “Your prince? and you must be the queen mother….. both the prince and the queen are currently behind iron bars!” Jane scorned.


    “Says thedy who dreamt of ruining the life of her best friend…. but the rule of karma yed you so bad that you don’t hold any future anymore” Angie retorted.


    Jane rushed towards Angie and pulled her hair hard. “I dare you to say that again!”


    The guards who has been watching the two arguing for a while shot a sleeping dart on their necks.


    They both wobbled until they hit the ground hard.


    The doctor came out of the ward and stood in front of them.


    “How is she doctor?” Dn and Amelia asked as soon as he came out.


    “The patient is conscious… but she is scared right now maybe it had something to do with what happened to herst night”


    Dn walked away from them, he took out his phone and raised it to his ear. “Have you found out anything?…. good bring it over to the hospital as soon as possible!”


    Jenna peeped into the ward and turned to the doctor. “Can we see her now?”


    “Mrs Wesley I’m afraid no…. only one person can see her at the stage”


    Amelia stole a nce at Dn who had a worried expression on his face.”Dn you can go in”


    Dn raised his head in surprise, him? he had expected Amelia to go in since she was Louisa’s friend.


    “Come this way Mr Wesley” the doctor said and led him into the ward.


    When they entered, Dn’s brow’s drew together in confusion, she was avoiding the nurse’s touch mumbling some words.


    He was too surprised to move, immediately she saw him she came down from the bed and hid behind him.


    “Dn…. she is trying to kill me”


    The doctor released a sigh and pulled off his sses. “we’ve been facing this since she woke up”


    Dn nodded and brought her to stand in front of him.. “Louisa she is a nurse….”


    “No she is the joker, she tried to stab me with that needle…” Louisa argued.


    Dn’s phone vibrated in his pocket, he pulled it out and walked a few steps away, only to be clinged onto by Louisa.


    “A joker?” he murmured and turned back to Louisa, he could see the fear that crossed her face after he mentioned it.


    “The… j.. oker…” Louisa stuttered and snatched his phone, she threw it down and smashed it with her foot.


    The doctor called in several nurses who held Louisa back down. He rolled up her sleeves and injected a substance into her body.


    “What was that for?” Dn inquired seizing the doctor’s coat.


    “Does she look insane to you?!”


    The doctor raised his hands a little higher above his head. “Mr Wesley… this is the only way to keep her under check for now”

    Dn and the rest focused on theptop’s screen with great interest.


    Liam pointed to something on the screen “She wasn’t alone in the office, someone else was there”


    “You mean a joker?” Amelia asked which piqued Dn’s interest.


    “How do you know about that?” he asked.


    Amelia shifted theptop to herself and rewinded it back a little before zooming in.

    Dn massaged his head, this whole thing wasn’t clear to him yet. “What the hell is a joker doing in mypany? it’s not a circus!” Dn murmured irritably.


    “That joker did something to Louisa” Liam pointed out.


    Olivia barged into Luciana’s home, she had a feeling that Luciana had a hand in whatever must have happened to Louisa.


    “Luciana!!e out!!” Olivia barked out..


    “Honey I’m over here..” a voice called out to her.


    Olivia jolted slightly and turned towards the direction of the voice.

    The joker came down from the stairs acting all stupid and dumb like how they behave in the circus.

    The joker let out an eeryughter dancing to no music, Olivia walked up to the joker and pulled off it’s mask.


    Luciana’s menacing gaze came in view before she could react a pnded on her right cheek.


    “What did you do to Louisa?”


    Lucianaughed out loud and sat down on a sofa. “How can I do anything to her?”


    “Keep the pretense to yourself and what’s up with this costume?” Olivia asked icily.


    Luciana spranged up to her feet and caught Olivia’s neck. “Why don’t I show you what I really did to Louisa? since you were too eager to find out!”
