I know I promised to write the 5 chapters I owed from before including today that will be around 14 or so chapters. My laptop was screwed the other day when I just finished typing the 5th owed chapter. That''s right I finished the battle between Naruto and Sasuke and wrote a lot more as well, but my laptop, well… The keyboard malfunctioned. I had three or four keys that suddenly stopped working. (A,N,T and (2/@) keys stopped working entirely). I did a clean up of my laptop thinking I would succeed but nothing happened. I would have been comfortable using a bluetooth keyboard, but I wouldn''t have holidays in the near future to solve this problem, so I decided to give my Mac for service. The people at apple reset my laptop part of their service procedure which completely erased all my data.
*Sigh!*
Can''t tell how pissed off I was. All my hard work went destroyed in one go…
Sad part is I cannot even replicate the exact way of how I wrote the chapters previously since I would probably explain the same set of sequences with changes here and there almost completely different from the original.
Anyways, I will be back to writing the chapters soon so hopefully I should be able to upload starting from tomorrow. On the plus side the new keyboard feels too good. I guess I''ll go ahead and type in full speed.
Also in the next few days, I should be able to set-up my tablet and start drawing the manga if possible. I''ve been doing research and practicing my design skills the past few days, So I guess I have been productive. Now I shall return back to free hand drawing. Hopefully I should be able to replicate the quality of a manga.
It''s been hard for me to realize the fact that we casually flip over a page in manga, but have we ever thought about how many hours of work and details go into every panel of a manga? I sincerely respect all the mangakas, their artists and assistants.
This is what I felt the first time I replicated a panel from Hajime no Ippo.
